      So they turned Holmes into a Victorian Era James Bond. Meh. Nice though that somebody finally gave Jude Law work. i'm sure he was getting bored.

      robert downey is a good actor.guy only has sucess when he works with good directors.and robert was nominated for an oscar

      Okay, I am sure this movie will become a hit & everyone will now say that it was in fact Madonna that cursed his career & the trailer does look very "Hollywood". But besides knowing that the movie is about Sherlock Holmes, what else did this trailer tell/show us?? From what I can tell, nothing, I still don't know or couldn't tell from this trailer, what this movie was about. Let's hope the movie itself isn't as confusing or vague.

      Re: BugsLabellle – exacly.madonna never coursed is career because he made movies before he was married to madonna and they sucked too.so madonna was always at his side.even when they were about to separete madonna went to his premier and guy didnt show up at her premiere.madonna says good things about he and he says good things about her and thats what people should be ,,civilicized.they care about each other but one thing is true is movies always sucked and its not madonna fault

      Big fan of Sherlock and this movie looks great. I hope it does well, then perhaps Guy will be taken more seriously as a director (rather than as Mr Madonna)

      It actually looks a lot better than I thought because usually Sherlock Holmes movies are, um, a little boring. But this one seems to be filled with action and of course the actors are great. I can't wait to really see Jude and RDJ in the whole film! Looks fantastic!

      Everything with Robert Downey Jr. is great. Mel Gibson is right: the guy is really gifted!

      Obviously Guy Ritchie knows absolutely NOTHING about Sherlock Holmes. Holmes was far from a womanizer and is rarely read of with a female lead. He was also addicted to cocaine, as was author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It is to be infered that Holmes and Watson slept together. Anywho the series was boring, the movie will probably be better, but it just ain't sherlock, sherlock.
