    My son goes to this camp!! It is the greatest place for kids with parents who have cancer. Please give!!!

    I have a friend who's mom died of cancer. He goes to this camp and my family gives money to it. They are really amazing.

    Awesome Camp - Awesome Group - The camp leaders are caring, motivated, and just fantastic. The kids have such a great time without the issues around the big C for a few weeks it is really great to see them come back so invigorated and happy…….. Get involved - Donate, Donate, Donate

    Thank you so much for posting about our organization. I work with Camp Kesem at Stanford University (for 4 years now) and am very proud of all the students who pour their hearts and souls into this work. When they saw that you had written about Camp Kesem our lists went wild and your blog post has been sent all over campus. Thank you for spreading the word about what we do and encouraging folks to donate. We provide our services free to all our families so this helps us out a ton!

    Camp Kesem provides a great experience for the children of parents with cancer. It is also a great testimony to the commitment of the college students who selflessly provide time and energy to organize and run the summer camps. They often build relationships with the campers and become part of the extended family. It would be great if the millions of readers of Perez Hilton could reach out and support Camp Kesem.

    As a cancer fighter and Camp Kesem Berkeley alum, this is truly an AMAZING organization! The college students do everything from organizing meetings, fundraising, planning camp and reunions, recruiting campers, doing PR, and making sure that all counselors and fully trained and certified. Camp is so so much fun for both campers and counselors. Unfortunately this segment of kids is often neglected by traditional "cancer camps," so Kesem is honestly one of a kind. Thank you Perez for highlighting Camp Kesem, and everyone, keep donating and supporting us!! :)

    I've become involved with Camp Kesem Berkeley over the past year and it has really opened my eyes to the huge impact that a group of college students can make with just spirit and commitment. The enthusiasm and passion is contagious and I'm really glad to have the chance to work with peers to help a severely underserved group of children. As a soon-to-be first time camp counselor, it is truly inspiring to hear stories about how the kids are able to forget about their worries and have the times of their lives at camp. Thanks for your support, Perez!

    this is a great camp! I volunteered for the one run by UC Berkeley. I didn't got to the actual camp, but the fundraising was a lot of fun. Everyone is so passionate about this cause and they're really making a huge difference.

    Seriously though, my sister attended the camp (my mom is now a cancer survivor) and I have worked for 2 years as a fundraising coordinator at the Berkeley camp and its been an extremely rewarding and challenging experience, particularly in this economy. It helps to have all the support we can get because camp really does make a difference to the families affected by cancer. My sister loved her camp experience and my parents were so grateful to Camp Kesem for giving her that experience and for giving them one week off in the summer to just relax and focus on themselves. Camp really is a magical week for everybody involved.
