It will certainly be a long day for American Idol fans as they wait and wonder who will be crowned the next Idol champ tonight.
You know who we are rooting for and we hope most of you agree!
But what if we could know for sure before the broadcast who's gonna win?
Someone else thought the same thing and where there is a will, there is a way.
In the digital age, with the click of a few buttons, you can learn everything you've ever wanted to know about your favorite Idols using your favorite search engine. But those clicks can be calculated and tallied and by analyzing Internet search trends, a winner can be "easily" predicted.
Every American Idol winner for the last three seasons has been the leader of online searches for weeks leading up to the finale. The analysis of this season almost guarantees an Adam Lambert win, as he has dominated the search competition since the beginning of the season.
Of course, this is still reality TV, so anything could happen.

i love adam, he is one of the most amazing singers. but kris is also amazing in an understated way. im go glad kris won and i know that both of them will have fantastic careers.

I have just watched the results show and it is a travesty. Kris is not the better singer, not the better performer and will be forgotten in 6months time. Adam is the shiz, he is the real deal. When he steps on stage, regardless of whether you like him or not - you look at him, you're captivated by him and THAT is what makes a true star. GO ADAM. You do not NEED American Idol. You are far, far bigger and your star will shine for longer than anyone who's won it.

American Idol is a joke…if you are gay and Jewish you can't win even if you are as talented as Streisand, Garland, Midler, Elton, Cher and on and on. Its funny…I loved Adam mid-season then bam! Kris came out of no where for me. HIs rendition of heartless gave me chills and to be honest i was bored of Adam. He has a wonderful voice but a bit too much, Kris had this way of grabbing people's attention and gave me chills! So happy he won, and don't give me the whole its cause America is homophobic, I'm bi and all my gay friends voted for Cris…actually alot of gay guys i know voted for Kris… Better guy won and its bloggers fault for making the public sick and tired of Adam (I.E. The truth is, the show is called American Idol, not Las Vegas Lounge Act. Kris won because he fits the bill. Also, his voice has more appeal. While Adam is a superior showman, he looks more like a clown than an idol. I don't know, maybe I'm just too conservative, but then again, that screeching really grates the nerves. Kudos to Kris
