Fringe Star Fired, Turns To Facebook

Even celebrities feel the need to vent on their Facebook status. They are human afterall!
Kirk Acevedo, one of the co-stars on the new Fox hit Fringe, let his fans know via Facebook that he was let go from the series.
And he was none too happy about it!
Acevedo wrote: "WELL BOYS AND GIRLS THEY DONE DID YER BOY WRONG! THEY FIRED ME OFF OF FRINGE, AND IVE NEVER BEEN FIRED IN MY LIFE!!!!"
That's the biz, kid.

I respect him even more for informing us fans of injustice that was done to him.
He's amazing actor and Fringe fans love him and his carachter, i for sure wont be watching this show anymore because it just wont be the same without him.

I personally won't miss him. He does the "Nick Cage" whisper/mumble thing. It's pretty bad. I tend to make fun of him after he delivers the lines.
They could fire Anna Torv too as far as I'm concerned. I watch for the Peter and Walter Bishop characters.
I did not care for him one way or another.
He was ok I guess.
The girl on Fringe does not have to worry though, Rupert Murdoch is her uncle.

Yeah, it's a bummer but it's probably due to budget cuts. A lot of shows will be seeing this sort of thing before production starts up for next season. Dumping non-critical characters is the easiest way of reducing costs.
Fridge's production got moved from New York to Vancouver in order to save dough, as well.
That sucks! I loved him in "Band of Brothers" and I only started to watch "Fringe" because HE was in it! What the hell??!!

He was one of the best things about the show! His character gave the show it's ground. He was the one normal agent in a department full of supernatural and or crazy people! Now the show will suck…
.. but then again, they had to pay for Nimoy somehow and so someone or thing had to go… couldn't they have just ogtten rid of Walters cow??

Jeff Pinkner sounds like Bill CLinton debating the definition of "is."
Dude. Pinkner used to be an attorney. He is very careful with his language. He does not like the word "fired" because it sounds harsh, which it is. He keeps insisting Kirk is not fired, but that his option was not picked up for the second season. Potato, pah-tah-to. Phrase it however you like, the end result is the same. Acevedo is not returning as a main character. I'm sure Bad Robot wants him to return for an episode or maybe even a few more. This is just to tie up loose strings within their story lines. Boo Jeff Pinkner. Boo Bad Robot. Bad robots indeed.
Has anyone seen Kirk in the past 24 hours? Because I feel he could be in grave danger: tied to a chair in Jeff Pinkner's pool room with the likes of WB's tv and Fox executives hosing him down with water and yelling in his face, "Now here's what you're gonna say Puerto Rican…"
