    Yes, although i loved Adam Lambert more. Kris Allen is the real deal -he's amazingly talented and what he does with his songs each week is amazing. I have to say though, why just a short congratulatory line to Kris? And not even a mention of his name? If Adam had won, you would've posted ten entries on the win straightaway, complete with freshly dug up pictures of Adam and whatnot.

    Anyway, regardless of who won, i am sure that the both of them will go on to have good careers because so many people are fans of them that i'm sure whatever they put out will do well. Adam Lambert doesn't need the American Idol crutches to help him with his singing career anyway, i'm sure that a lot of record producers and industry people are lining up to sign him. Either way, i am happy with the outcome because they are both extremely talented and have nice, good personalities. Well done Kris! And best of luck to you Adam!

    Kris WAS the right one to win the show. Both Kris & Adam are AWESOME vocalists, but what makes Kris better and more deserving in my opinion is that he is well-rounded and more than just a good singer- he plays instruments and writes music, too. Adam was always really great, but he was also a one-trick pony, there was no evollution for him in his entire span on the show, and he got boring a while ago.

    The outcome was a disappointment, to say the absolute least. Kris Allen's talent paled in comparison so extremely to Adam Lambert's that Kris could hardly be called talented at all. Despite his amazing abilities as an artist and performer, Adam lost for the most obvious reason- because he is gay and unashamed. That is just utterly disheartening. It's disheartening because the LGBT community still has so long to wait for their place in America.
    Regardless of the results, Adam Lambert is someone who has genuinely touched his audience. His success is sure to come, despite this injustice. He has my support through any means. He is an phenomenal artist and, clearly, an amazing human being.

    I definitely agree with the winner! The producers were giving Adam so much unfair advantage, add that on top of Katie Perry performing and endorsing him at the same time. Throughout the entire finale it looked as if Kris had lost hope because it seemed so obviously that Adam had it in the bag. Adam had an amazing voice but due to all the crazy publicity, such as being on the cover of a magazine before the competition was even over was sort of horse shit. Both extremely talented, but I was overjoyed that the underdog came out on top :) . Besides, it's not like Adam won't still have an amazing career, but Kris deserved to win.

Thank God the far right "Christians" only get 1 vote for President, or they would cram the ballot boxes, each with multiple paper ballots just as they did the airwaves with multiple phone calls. Think about it….if there were 100 million votes, and 40 million came from Arkansas….well, enough said….Adam Lambert is light years ahead of Kris Allen in both talent and presence….I'm incredulous that Kris made it that far, Danny Gokey for example is better, but I believe that the months and years ahead will prove Adam's talent to make him a superstar that will outshine any and all Idol winners and that Kris will fade into the medocrity that he so richly deserves, a la Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, etc.

Im sure that influenced it, although I think the hugest thing was that kris was the choice for many of the pre teen girls– which really don't have much to do and i remeer 13– those girls are very loyal to the people that are fans of. I think Adam fans are more mature- people in thier 20s and up and who spend 4 hours on a phone. I am canadian and I only started watching it 3 episodes ago (i only watched the 1st idol.) and just flipped thru and saw Kris version of heartless and i loved it- and then i saw adam and was lown away. I think his losing is prolly going to work out. He won't have presurre on him and he wont have a contract forced on him, he will have more freedom for creativity, and I think now that he has suc a strong following he has a long future ahead.     I agree completely. Everyone thinks Adam was so creative and so fierce and what not, but I think the opposite. I think he fit the typical rocker bill in all honesty. Plus, the first time we heard him shriek into the mic, it was impressive, but after you hear that crap 10 times, you start to realize he may not have any more "creativity" left.

    I think Kris was a better vocalist. Period.

    I think the right person won & not because of whether Kris got the straight vote & Adam the gay. I think it came down to performance level. Adam defintely has the voice, but he's also got the performer thing as well. That doesn't translate well to radio. I've listened to his iTunes & they just lose something in the recording. I think he's just a much stronger & better live performer, than a recording artist. Kris translates well to radio, because he doesn't need that performing aspect. Adam has all that theater training working against him, because he just takes control of that stage & doesn't let go, but in a recording, it's not the same. I would pay to see him in a production, but I don't know that I would buy an album from him. I think there are more talented singers than Kris, but they weren't in the finals. Besides, when was the last time a winner of "AI" was really successful, besides Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood? All the losers seem to have the better careers, & is that really what you want for your sweet Adam?
