The Gossip Girl cast seems to be very musically inclined, but it is none other then Little J, Taylor Momsen, that can rock it out with the best of them.

MTV sat down with the fashionista turned punk rocker and she shared some deets on her music.
"I write it all," she wants us to believe. "I'm completely involved. You're hearing my life, so you're hearing my diaries. Have fun!"
Hmm…wonder if there are any songs about the cast? That would make for interesting music.
Her band, the Pretty Reckless, were just signed to Interscope and have just started on some new tracks for the album. She reveals that her inspriation comes from females of rocking's past, like Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, and even Courntey Love "in her time."
And what does she think of her fellow Gossip musicians, like Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick: "Well, it's very different. I haven't heard a ton of it, so I've heard only what you guys have heard online. It's great."

No fair, they both have different styles so there's no way to compare them. I truly enjoy her music, she created a nice style and I don't doubt for a sec that she writes her own music, when you sing something from the heart it will most likely become a great success… As for Ed's band, they are awesome too and not just on the internet Taylor.

I saw Pretty Reckless last week opening for The Veronicas and they were really good!! I also had the opportunity to meet Taylor after the show. She is really cook and down to earth. I told her that I had seen some of the YouTube vids a few days before and I wasn't too sure how good the band would be but they really surprised me. Taylor said she had seen the vids and agrees that they were far from steller but that it was their first show. She has decent stage presence but given time I think she could be a great front woman. When we were talking she said that although she is known for acting her first love has always been writing and singing. I told her that she reminded me of a pre-crazy, pre-cracked out Courtney Love. When it comes to raw talent Taylor wins it over Leighton.
She should really hire, or fire her stylist. Pronto.
