Lambert Beats Allen On iTunes

Kris Allen may have won the whole shabang last night, but Adam Lambert is still the clear favorite - or at least winning where it counts!
iTunes has made available all of the musical performances of each performer and Lambert's version of Mad World is beating out Kris Allen's Ain't No Sunshine!
iTunes did not include the ranking of the singles all season as to not give away the favorite to win. But we guess it didn't matter in the long run!
At the time of this posting, Lambert's Mad World is #4 on iTunes and Allen's Heartless is #6.

Adam was the clear winner in vocal talent, in entertainment value, in artistry and most importantly in record sales. you cannot deny that something smells about this whole thing. Kris did not truly win and I will say that will full belief in my words. i have nothing against the kid, i really don't. i just think when someone deserves to win and had the votes to win, that they should have won. the corporation that is Fox should not have interferred, which they have done before. i can only assume you are educated enough to know who runs Fox and what that means.

uh duh…adam's version of mad world was so good that it was, by far, better than the original. maybe even the best song/performance on the show this year, but you can't win with one awesome song…obviously. hell, i think it was probably the only song without that god awful cat screaming which would explain it's popularity.

I think Kris deserved that win waaaaay more than Adam. Kris has the talent, he IS A MUSICIAN and encompasses everything that American Idol should be about. As far as Adam, if you ever REALLY watched one of his performances, you can see he has no emotion to the song, just dramatics and theatrical entertainment. I am ecstatic that Kris won, as he will keep the real emotion in his future music endeavours as opposed to Adam, who would create them for exploitation!

Considering that Kris was NEVER in the bottom 3 the whole season, and the fact that it seems like the producers at AI WANTED Adam to win by giving him a bigger set to be apart of last night with Kiss, and the judges comments towards Adam…. I seriously thought Kris was going to get second, and Adam take first… I almost felt as though Kris had kind of been written off, but you know what I am glad he won. No one really thought that he was going to win… It would have either been Danny or Adam… and then Kris's way of rearranging and stripping songs down acoustically really resonated with people.
