TLC has released a clip from the season premiere of Jon & Kate Plus Eight, and - as we've learned - for some reason, a lot of you really care about these losers!
Watch as Jon and Kate do their testimonials separately - as in they can't seem to be in the same room together! And what's worse is that Kate looks completely at ease all by her lonesome, while Jon still seems to be leaving a space open on the couch for his wife to return.
Jon also has this to say about their marriage : "Kate and I obviously have been going through a lot of stuff and discussing what's best for our kids. What we said in the beginning — it's a crazy life, but it's our life — that's so true."

I've been watching this show for many seasons, always finding Kate to be obviously well, a bitch, especially with Jon. Anyway, watching this preview made me feel really sad. I feel horrible for those kids, though I'm sure they don't have much of a clue what exactly is going on. The interviews with Jon and Kate separately were super painful. Jon looks like he's left space for Kate to be there, while Kate seems like she could not give a shit whether or not Jon is there.
The whole thing was kind of depressing, really. It's too bad she became such a fucking horrible monster who alienated not only her whole immediate family (brother, Jodi, mother, etc.), but because a beast towards Jon.
I just hope the kids are okay in the end. That's the reason most people watch the show in the first place.

she should really take more time to focus on fixing her family and not doing book tours or speaking to the press. just like he took vows on their wedding day (AND THE RENEWAL VOWS IN HAWAII THAT TLC PAID FOR!) she took them too so they should do the right thing and try to remember to put their family first.
Wow, I just went and rewatched the clip. Notice the little boy rocking back and forth on the picnic table during the happy birthday song….it looks so disturbing. These children are already feeling loss…

If any of you care AT ALL about these children, watching this show is the LAST thing you should do. This is what Jon and Kate have wanted anyway, they know their ratings are sagging and the show will get canceled so they are pulling every PR move in the book. Perez already described what's going to happen in the premiere episode, so don't waste time and give even more money and time to these greedy parasites. Let those kids have the privacy they deserve. It's an absolute hypocrisy to care whatsoever about those children and contribute to the deprivation this circus has already caused them. MAKE IT STOP. Only you can do that. Don't watch. Supply and demand, folks.

Wow, that was *super* depressing! I've always thought Jon was the one who wanted out from the relationship… but now I think it's Kate who wants to lose the dead weight. Poor Jon… I'm sure he'd love nothing more than to live his life away from the cameras. I wish them all the best… they're not bad people and they just fell victim to celebrity, I guess.

I read in the Toronto Star this morning that they're actually doing OK and all this is actually just a publicity stunt for their upcoming season. Who knows? If its real I just feel bad for the kids

I have some friends who work for Discovery (which owns TLC). They're filming the season finale right now and Jon & Kate hate each other so much that the producers are having a hard time getting them into the same room at the same time.

I just seen the preview for the new season!! It made me sad!! I know that most people don't care one way or another but when you watch something for so long you start to feel as if you know them (i'm fully aware that I don't) but… Jon always refers to Kate as his wife which of course she hates. On this preview he says " I love my kids and I love my family." Not once does he say I love Kate or I love my wife
I'm pulling for them to make it work….If only they could remember that place when they were in when they were head over heels in love!!!
Its amazing that all this drama is on the TLC network..kinda defeats the purpose of having a network like this.. Jon & Kate should move to Bravo or something! this is such a soap opera…ironic how now they have seperate interviewing chairs..why bring the drama to the show! you say you love your family's they mean everything to you..well put on a good face for your family and the cameras that you love so much!
