People who REALLY love music invest themselves in the performer. Kris is a singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist, and a fiance. Adam is a singer, performer, and a really bad pete wentz makeover victim. Glossy presentation can detract from a powerful performance, and Adam suffered from his presentation. I think he is happy for the outcome, why can't you get off the bus and let things develop? 6n another note, I would buy Kris, and wouldn't listen to Adam past a single song or music clip. Great voice, but no soul.

He only won because 30 million out of a 100 million votes came from Arkansas, a state with a 2.8 million population. That's assuming that each resident voted at least 13 times for Kris and nobody in the entire state voted once for Adam. Sounds to me like someone hired a phone banker! That's called cheating!

ummm i doubt this is true as on the american idol forums adam has over 295,000 posts and all the others including Kris have less than 100,000 posts (by along shot actually) also the week before there were only 1 million votes separating them although Kris would have had the tween vote he sang more current songs (heartless etc) and Adam most likely appeals to 17+ the ppl who arent going to vote for 4 hours…..

I "suspect" the bigoted Christian vote had more to do with it than anything. However they were most likely motivated to take a position on the suspected gay image that Adam projects. Reminds me of the Bush presidency. Kris appears to be a very nice young man and so does Adam. However the clear talent winner (and talent is what should have been voted on)must recognize that Adam is at a much higher level than Kris. America voted (allegedly) for Kris. Congrats! Adam was much better in terms of vocals and performing, BUT, if Kris was who America voted for (allegedly) then more power to him. I think it works out for both guys, Kris will now have to live with the pressures of being AI's "winner" where his every move will be judged and evaluated, as well as his ability to get fans (translation = $$$$). Remember, this wasnt about who has the most morals, values and christian thinking… it was a singing competition… all about getting attention from record excecutives (translation = $$$$), a record contract (translation = $$$$) money (do you need a translation for that, really?) and fame (have I mentioned $$$$)
Adam will have to deal with being "2nd" but he'll always be a winner as he'll be able to move on and do whatever he wishes. His voice allows him to go from Rock to Broadway, so his fans will hear from him for a long time.

Adam SO should have won. Kris is just… mediocre. He's an average guy… yeah he's got a nice voice, but nothing unique. Nothing that sets him apart from the crowd.
