Natalie Cole's Sister Passes Away

It seems that tragedy may have been unavoidable.
While singer Natalie Cole was undergoing kidney transplant surgery this week, her older sister, Cookie, passed away, according to reports.
Apparently, Cookie had not been to the doctor in 30 years, and upon her recent visit, a cancerous spot was found on her lung. When doctors wanted to treat her immediately with chemo, she made the decision to not seek treatment.
While Natalie was at Cookie's bedside, the singer received a phone call from doctors with a kidney ready to transplant, directing her to get to the hospital immediately in order to perform the surgery.
When Natalie refused to go, younger sister Timolin convinced her to go, saying, "Cookie would want this for you."
What a crazy story!

Anyhoo, some people *run* to docs all the time while others (like me) avoid 'em if possible. Not as unusual as you might think. The medical profession is b-i-g business nowadays. But R.I.P. All of these people commenting on the name have to the lowest form of life on earth. What type of sub par high school did you matriculate from? Judging from these comments I assuming that the majority aren't too educated, nor were your parents, grandparent and so on. Because this doesn't feel like new futility, it sounds like years of missed education.

Oh how sad. It's good that natalie got a new kidney though-hopefully she'll get better now. i guess it is important not to avoid the doc for 30 years.
