The grammar school teacher served a 7 1/2 year prison sentence for statutory rape for becoming physical with 12 year old student when she was 34! Letourneau was released in 1994 and she married student, Vili Fualaa, one year later all the while bearing two of his children.

First of all, homosexuality CANNOT be compared with rape, statutory rape, or pedophilia. A relationship involving consenting ADULTS has nothing to do with this situation.
Secondly, it is true that people have different ideas about the age of consent, and there can sometimes be a grey area when it comes to older teens with a certain degree of maturity. This is not in that grey area. Spend some time with a twelve year old and you'll know why.
