Michelle Williams accompanied her daughter, Matilda, on a scooter adventure through New York City on Saturday morning.
It won't be long before we see the tiny celebutot is behind the wheel!
Nice to see Mommy Michelle is insisting on a helmet.

Don't give her too much credit, the way she has that helmet on, it won't do her much good if she takes a spill.
Yeah, yeah Heath's mini me is adorable, but what's up with Michelle? Is she 80 or did she just mug Mushy Barton for her wardrobe?

haha i was going to say the same thing as everyone else.. that helmet is not fitted correctly! way too loose the straps need to be tightened so that only two fingers fit between the strap and the chin.. and so that the helmit sits ON TOP of the head not on the back of the head.
When I grow up I'm gonna snort coke, pop all the pills and inject heroin just like my daddy, and why now? from my little girls point of view, I see thats how you adults define tortured artist and hero!
Adorable child. So sweet and normal looking. Someone teach her mother how to correctly place the helmet on the childs head so she stays that way.
The helmet is clearly just for show and the benefit of the paparazzi.

The unfortunate thing is that the kid isn't wearing the helmet correctly. It is supposed to be worn so that the forehead is completely covered. The way she has it on it will not do any good if she wipes out. Glad Michelle tries to protect her: now I hope she figures out how to do it right.
The helmet will probably strangle her if she falls because it isn't fitted properly ~ don't give credit where it's not due.

Yeah, too bad that Mommy is too stupid to know how to fit the helmet. First, this helmet is way too small for Pumpkin Head. Second, even if it was the correct size, Mommy Dearest does not have it properly placed on her head and the chin strap is not adjusted properly. Go, Mommy!
Michelle take a little time and make sure that helmet is secure! Nice to see them smile again. At least they are going on with their lives. As it should be.
It may be nice to see that she's insisting on a helmet, but it's not on properly at all. If she were to fall, her helmet would probably just flip backwards like it is now.
The main issue here was that the strap around the chin was too loose and at the point when the photos were taken the helmet probably slipped back on her head. Matilda probably got pissed off at the feeling of the strap against her chin.
How fast was she really going on this scooter anyways?? like .5 miles an hour? Unless Michelle gets distracted and Matilda just kinda rolls into the intersection and hasn't learned yet the dangers of cars, from living in New York City, then I doubt anything bad would happen to her head. If anything, I'd be putting on knee and elbow pads instead.

Yeah enough about the helmet. Kids hate wearing those things, it may not be as effective but have you tried to get a three year old to wear one? Most hate the feeling of a tight strap and will loosen it on their own. So give her a break.
The helmet isn't even secure. It would fly right off or be a strangulation risk. Ugh.

Since everyone seems to be so vocal about Michelle's parenting skills, they should know there are also photos of Michelle doing the helmet up perfectly when Matilda got on the scooter, and of Matilda pushing it back and loosening the straps. Because that's what children do when they're uncomfortable.
