Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

With a due respect, it isn't "Happy" memorial day as the day is not about picnics and hot dogs … it's about honoring the soldiers who gave their life for our country. I don't think it should be "Happy" Memorial Day………..nothing is happy about this holiday. If the only reason ppl are 'happy' today cuz they have a day off, then they have bigger problems.
What are you doing in San Diego Perez? Going to Sea World? Or visiting the SD Zoo? They have a brand new elephant exhibit that just opened last week end. It's really cool.
Or you can come over and help me take care of my two boys while my husband's out of the country! Ha!!
I understand what you are saying, more than you know, but I am okay with Perez wishing us all a Happy Memorial Day. He is one of few voices on the Left who shows support for our military. I am going to do my best to pursue happiness today in honor of the men and women who died defending our freedom and our American way of life. And let's all remember to support our all volunteer military. God bless them and keep them safe.

My husbands in the Army and here on post they're saying Happy Memorial Day….it is happy. We're happy that people were willing to lay down their lives for us. We're happy that because of them we live in a free country.
