A Perezcious reader (named Alan) clued us in to more public drunkeness from our girl, Lady Sovereign!

Miz Sovereign was supposed to do an in-store performance at Easy Street Records in Seattle, WA, last Thursday but stopped after just one song!
The messy rapper blamed the abbreviated set on the crappy sound quality, but the Lady was obvs intoxicated, with a drink in hand and slurring her words.

Ok for all the retards that apparently don't live in Seattle, here's why I would be pissed if she bailed: 1) parking is expensive as shit so if I paid for a few hours of parking to go down to this in-store performance then technically, no, it wasn't free. 2) there was a Mariners game the very same night so finding another parking spot later in the evening/getting around all of the fucking traffic would be horrendous and 3) WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK IF SHE GAVE OUT FREE TICKETS TO HER SHITTY SHOW THAT NIGHT?! People probably had to go to work later or had other plans/obligations. Fuck that bitch.

I love Lady Sovereign, she's such a great performer. She gave me a free ticket for her concert in DC, that's how cool she is.
i was there. she was wasted and a b*tch. over half the crowd there was under 21. she had people sign up on an already full guest list for an already overbooked show at a small venue, which was also a 21 and up show. hence, nobody who signed up on the guest list (especially those under 21) were not admitted to the show. totally unprofessional. being a paid musician is a job. she showed up to work for 1 minute, gave us the middle finger, then left. ho.
If you really think she's intoxicated then all I can say is - you obviously don't spend much time with people who are pissed…She's just got a sloppy way of speaking like a lot of kids..

Anyways, that crowd probably didn't pump her up enough through that "drink + song". That's the kind of crowd that reminds me how nobody likes to jam or at least have a good time at a show. And with beats? Not move? Bad news bear.
If it's free and she bailed…it's not as bad as you paying for the show and she bailed is alls I gotta say.

Yes, the show was sold out and so no one out of the people she put on the list actually got in. I felt that part needed to be repeated, as well as the point that this was the only opportunity for her underage Seattle fans to see her live. And all the way more prolific artists who have played at Easy Street have had no problem with the sound there.

what many of you failed to realise is that this sad twat offered free tickets to an ALREADY SOLD OUT SHOW…(ya know people who actually PAY for stuff, instead hoping for freebies?)
not only did she f*ck over Easy Street (one of the best record stores in the US), she also f*cked over the Croc, the venue which was unfortunate enough to get stuck with her.
