Evangeline Lilly Backdoor Disses Angelina Jolie
Lost hottie Evangeline Lilly is a super private celebrity and she likes it that way. You would too, if people could get pictures of you dating a hobbit!

When prompted in a recent interview to suggest a celebrity's career she would like to emulate, strangely enough she choose A-Lister Angelina Jolie. She attempts to compliment the actress' classy attempts to avoid the limelight, but it comes off a little more harsh then we think she intended.
Evangeline says: "No one knows that woman; she's a complete ice queen, which is perfect. Why should she be any more? She doesn't owe us anything."
We guess Angie can be kind of cold, but still, one shouldn't say such things about such powerful celebrities, even in joking.
One might find themselves eaten by a smoke monster on a mysterious island sooner than anticipated!

Evangeline could say whatever the hell she wants. She has a point. We all know Angelina only has a heart for poor children and cocks, not necssarily in that order. To the rest of us, she IS an ice queen.
It's a frank way of saying Angelina keeps up walls, as well as any public figure has every right to do. Seriously, what other careers, besides politics, do people's private lives get plastered all over the media? I think everyone has a right to privacy, as long as it's not hurting anyone or abusing the world around them.
"Ice Queen" is a metaphor for unyielding. Angelina, who lived very publicly at one time, has closed down to the media because of the harm it would do to her family. There's really nothing insulting in the statement. Celebrities should be given the option to opt out of giving the media personal information. We don't own them.

C'mon, it's true. Angelina keeps her private life the way it should be… private. Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors, and that's a good thing, I think. She's an "ice queen" because she keeps quiet when bombarded by pesky interviewers and reporters about her private life… it's no ones business but hers (…funny I'm saying this on a gossip site, but anyway…).
Respected actors/actress' do not need to go around blabbing to the media for any other reason than to promote their work because once a celebrity reveals everything about themselves it's almost as if they've lost a bit of their spark or mysteriousness. She knows when to draw the line between her career and her private life… unlike a certain young red-headed actress who goes around asking paps where her ex is at or using the cameras to make movie deal pleads to other actors… that is why Angelina is a respected actress.
Angelina just has the smarts to know when to shut her mouth or never open it in the first place, which I can only imagine is hard when you're one of the most famous people alive.
Good for her. Evangeline is just saying she admires that and wants to emulate that philosophy in her career.
