Mike Tyson's Daughter Hospitalized After Accidental Hanging!

So horrible!
4-year-old Exodus Tyson, daughter of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, was found hanging from a cord off a treadmill on Monday in Phoenix, Arizona, and was rushed to the hospital. The little one was discovered by her 7-year-old brother who immediately alerted his mother.
At the time, the child was unresponsive, but once the paramedics arrived, CPR was administered and now the girl is on life support and in extremely critical condition.
The Phoenix Police Department are investigating but are certain the incident was an accident.
Our thoughts are with Exodus and her guardian angels. Help keep that child strong and alive!

Poor kid. We have a cord on our treadmill that I often remove so the kids can't use it and go really fast, but it easily disconnects with any pressure.
OMG…that is just horrible!!!! Prayers for them all and hope that she make it through.

For all of you who are saying 'unsupervised 4 year old lock him up' you obviously have no experience with kids or you're not around them very often. Its extremely hard to keep your eyes on a 4 year old all the time, but when they're in your home you always think they're safe and they can run off and play whereever they want. You don't think things like this are going to happen that's why they're called accidents. I have a neice who is four and she lives at home with me and my Mum so I know how active they can be. Like I said, they're very hard to keep track of especially at home.
That's so crazy. I will pray for the family. Where was everyone when this happened.

If you read the full article on CNN you'll find out that Tyson was not at the house when it happened, he was in Las Vegas. Her mother was at the home.

Sadly, something like this can happen to anyone anywhere, no matter how much you supervise your child. Accidents happen.
When I was 4 years old I was hung by my 9 year old brother.

Mike Tyson never really had a chance for a decent life, and he should have been vasectomized early on. Exodus has no "guardian angels" and I hope they unplug her post haste!
I was really sad to hear about this. It breaks my heart. I feel so bad for Mike Tyson and his family. They are all in my prayers and I truly hope that a miracle occurs and this child is able to wake up and have a normal life.

contrarianchick, the chances for Mike's 6 children to have an incredibly good life far outweighs the chance that you will committ suicide. They have all had a good life up to this point. Mike in his documentary admits that he was too young to accept some of the things that happened in his life based on his childhood, but he has rebounded incredibly well. From a nation that condones torture, I cant stand in judgement of anything Mike has done. From all accounts he is a great father and the children are well liked and well adjusted. Everyday on CNN I hear of little blond girls that go missing that have been raped, murdered and in some cases killed by their parents. You should comment on those cases. Mike is far from that. Your response in typical however.
His daughter just passed away in the hospital, at least that's what they say here in Sweden

What the heck is a 4 year old doing on a treadmill? Never heard of it. Are they that intent on starting her young to develop into some boxer like her dad? Poor parental supervision.

accidents do happen. that's why they're called accidents. noone plans for them to happen.
