New Buffy Movie!

buffy_2.jpg

We're talking a brand-spankin new Buffy, as in no more Sarah Michelle Gellar!

The widely popular TV series (based on a little-seen shitty film), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, may be making a comeback to the big screen, but without the help of anyone who made it worth watching.

The owners to the series rights, Kuzui Enterprises, are looking to create a relaunch of the of series, much like the newly vamped (no pun intended) up blockbuster movie Star Trek. The film would have no connection to the TV series, no inclusion of familiar characters, and as for now, does not even include the masterful work of Buffy creator Joss Whedon.

This, of course, begs the question of who the hell is going to see this movie if the fans don't even have the creator to fall back on to make the shit work?

We guess it would mean a new slayer for a new generation. But we think the only slayer any generation is interested in is Buffy herself. Maybe there should be more efforts on the reunion then a revamp (pun intended)!

I swear to god, if they make this film without Joss Whedon or any of the tv shows original characters and actors, i will die. Can't have buffy without SMG or Joss Whedon. Crazy!!

It's just a waste of time, no one will pay to see it, i wouldn't even buy it on D.V.D. if it didn't have the same people, Sarah, James, Alison…etc…i won't waste my time or money, whats up these ppl. that think they can remake this series into a movie without the real actors from the series, losers!!!

Buffy Without JOSS………………… i dont know wat to say………… Without Joss there is no Buffy…… Lets just say us fans will be very interested to see how this plans out….

Oh man, If they want this movie to do well then Joss has to be a part of it. He has to at least be a consultant. I think they could focus the movie on the activated slayers, and choose one of them to star in their own series..but there can be know Buffy The Vampire Slayer without Buffy…aka SMG.

How about, Julie the demon fighter..since they fought all demons..

But it boils down to No Joss no success….

I remember that movie was pretty popular back in the olden days.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. The first movie didn't work because they didn't use Whedon, only his script. The Series worked wonderfully because not only was he directly involved, the casting was great, and he oversaw everything with a supreme whedonesque. This movie WILL FAIL, because not only is he not writing it, he's not in anyway involved, and none of the cast members are on board.

If Joss isn't involved, I want nothing to do with this movie, even if it is about our lovely slayerettes.

no, the first movie was awesome yes a great idea, but im sorry but sarah michelle gellar made buffy if you ask anyone about buffy they say oh Sarah Michelle Gellar not Kristy Swanson. and if she isnt in this movie and if joss whedon isnt directing it or creating it then its going to be a complete failure. i can imagine there wont be many people going to see it. it needs the true buffy, they were gonna do the idea where buffy has a baby an teahces her to become a slayer, that would be cool. but i fear this will be a flop.
