    As long as God is on my money and a requirement to become president I do not believe that gays, lesbians, and transexuals should be allowed to get married and here is why. We, as a nation have allowed our government to make this a "christian" nation and stopped carrying about the separation of church and state. If the government isn't ruling over our religious beliefs than why are the passing a law that is based on religious beliefs? The problem is, most people haven't said anything because of tollerance or because the believe the same thing. There is a difference between tollerance and descrimination and creating a law based on your belief of creation that prevents otherwise qualifying citizens is descrimination. This will continue to happen if America doesn't enforce separation of church and state. So, thats why I say if things don't change I will not support it. We as a nation cannot continue to have our cake and expect to eat it too. I want some laws enforced too. I want not to have someones perception of creation shoved in my face everytime I cash my check or stand up for the pledge. I want religion out of the court room. This nation was built on freedom of religion. I want to know who decided to give that freedom away.
