IMAGINE IF IT WERE UP TO THE GAY VOTE–TO DECIDE IF STRAIGHTS WERE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO DIVORCE.

      I used to come here to get 'fun' hollywood gossip. Now every 2nd/ 3rd post is about the gays/outing people and I'm getting fed up. I LOVE gay people but honestly enough is enough!!!!

      And other states have the right to state their opinions. Where would the southern states like Alabama be without people marching and protesting in the state on various race-related injustices? The local people did a majority of the work, but this is a single nation, and citizens from other states were the tipping point. Utah, and the Mormon church, however, went too far. Influencing the outcome with money and manipulating people's religious beliefs. It's all very sketchy.

      So what are the odds? And how long before people start moving to different states, in droves because it's already happening to some extent, based on political or social reasons? And where does that lead? And should my state pay to fix your state because you state is retarded? Should we even vote anymore? Why bother if it is overturned by an appointed judge. That said, gay marriage is fine with me, but you should be asking these questions, and not just focusing on what you want, right now. There is always more to it then that.

      As much as I want this bigoted piece of shit legislation thrown out, the court is not going to do it. It's too political and they'll all be too afraid that there will be a backlash from voters. They will vote to keep marriages performed before the new legislation though. I guess that's something.

      It'll be up to the masses to get a new bill for marriage equality passed. Sorry to say.
