      Thanks for clarifying that. I'm glad you don't hate Americans THAT much. I had a bad experience in Paris with the cabbies and waiters. We tried to pretend that we were Canadians, but no one was buying it.

      Re: PaLady – I don't even hate Americans at all. I would go to New York so often otherwise. As for waiters in Paris, they really all suck, everyone who knows Paris knows that, so you shouldn't had taken this personally.

      Eventually the main reason of French's reluctance to America was Bush and Cheney, not Americans themselves.
