Adam Lambert on His Future
Adam Lambert is considering a stint as the new frontman for Queen but he wants to work on his own album. His dream scenario would be to do both!
So ambitious, Glambert!
He gives insight into his post Idol debut album:
"My record will be kind of a rock-pop-electronic-dance thing," says Lambert. "I don't know how to describe it. I think it's gonna take on a life of its own, as far as genre goes. There's a way to take the glam rock of the '70s and the classic rock of the '70s and kind of modernize it. … I want it to be produced in a very very current, almost futuristic, way."
It will include "sexy, dance-y, vibe-y" numbers along with more emotional songs that "appeal to people that are going through a hard time or don't believe in themselves."

"I want to communicate the liberation that is being comfortable in your own skin and that is being your own person. And the spirit of being different, and how strong that can make you feel," said the publicly closeted singer.

And to go off course here, Queen died in 1991 when Freddie Mercury died (another gay person who never actually said that he was). John Deacon retired right after Freddie died, so if anything they should call themselves 1/2 Queen or change the name. Paul Rogers just never fit as far as I was concerned, glad he left.
