No, it's not a musical - sadly. But, this is HUGE for Broadway!
Two A-list stars are heading to the Great White Way!
We imagine it's going to be difficult for anyone to concentrate on the actual narrative of A Steady Rain, which is set to star both Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.
The Broadway play centers around two cops in Chicago "whose friendship is tested by a domestic dispute they encounter in a poor neighborhood."
With this being Craig's Broadway debut, we have to admit that when we think "cop friends," we're imagining something entirely different.

THIS IS SO SAD!!!!!! i love both of them but I am a chicago native and saw this play last year at the Royal George theatre. Unless Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig can pull off playing two Chicago born and bred cops…with midwestern accent and attitude…than it is a travesty that these two were cast over the original actors in the two man show who were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!!! I sat a row away from them and had chills the entire time watching the two main characters, Peter DeFaria and Randy Steinmeyer. It was hands down the best play I've ever seen, and I'm a frequenter of Chicago theatre. Should have kept the original cast members and given them a shot!

they play two detectives seemingly being interviewed in an interrogation room…no uniforms just cheap suits and both would need to can a couple pounds to keep it authentic…the more i think about this the sadder i get for the two originators of the parts
