Jon Gosselin On An Allowance?
We think things are crossing the line of believable into bullshit at this point!
Now, reports are saying that rigid bitch Kate Gosselin keeps her husband Jon on a tight financial leash, giving him an allowance of $5 when they were out.
A former employer, David Rothermel, confessed that Kate would give Jon hell about spending money and while pregnant with the sextuplets, even stormed their office in a rage.
"She came in raising hell because Jon's father was supposed to bring her lunch and he was late. She got up out of bed rest to come in and yell at anyone who would listen!"
Okay, sure.
We've seen the pictures of a very pregnant Kate. You expect anyone to believe that she schlepped her 300 pound baby machine all the way to his office for a sandwich? If she could go all the way there, she could have just gotten her own lunch!
And Jon is still a grown, married man, which means he has just as much access to things like checking and savings accounts as she does.
We're getting kind of sick of the Jon pity party. Lest us not forget, he cheated first! (Maybe.)

my problem is that her career is exploiting her kids. Without them, she would have nothing, and yes I think the show was a good idea for a little while (to make some $$, yes), but now it's just out of control and they should've ended it last season like Jon wanted to. She will continue to make profits off of her books and the show, the kids don't need another season and they don't need all this attention and spotlight following them around especially during a time like this.
alright, i am sick to fucking death of people playing "she has 8 kids" card as an excuse for the way she behaves. i grew up in a big family (i'm the youngest of 7) and yeah, my mom had to be tough with us kids because there were a lot of us and we could have run her into the ground if she had given us the chance, but she did not treat my father that way too. my parents actually respected eachother, where as kate does not respect jon at all. stop trying to use the kids as an excuse for how kate treats jon.
Re: LEAH. – i agree, they should have ended the show last season. i do think a lot of what is going on with them right now is just publicity to get more viewers for the show and make more money for tlc. at the same time, i do think kate is the one that is keeping this shit going. it's more than obvious from watching the first episode that jon is not thrilled with being on the show. i think the money and fame has gone to kate's head.
and to others who keep claiming kate is a hard working woman. WRONG. so so wrong. that bitch has it easy. she doesn't plan anything like the show makes it seem like, that's what they've got tlc crews for. people who work for tlc are the ones who set everything up, they just make it seem like kate is the one doing it because it makes for good television, especially when she's bitching about how she has to do it alone. i find it disgusting that people say this woman is a hard working mother, when there are other mothers out there who work two full time jobs just to make sure their kids have food on the table. i don't think kate has any idea what hard work really is.

They didn't have much money when she was pregnant with the sextuplets. $5.00 is enough for a man to buy lunch. This is BEFORE the reality show…..when Jon had a low paying job doing IT.
Perez, you shouldn't have an opinion if you haven't watched the show from day one, like many of us have. This sort of behavior is EXACTLY the sort she has displayed on national television (anyone recall "Gum-gate" when Jon's SIL gave one of the little kids gum which he got on his sock and security blanket? Kate threw an absolute fit - threatening to throw away the boy's security blanket, making him cry hysterically, and then calling the SIL reaming her out for giving him the gum? Kate has severe anger problems that only a professional therapist can help her with.
Okay….seriously… Jon is a grown man and if he allows his wife to speak to him the way she does and he says nothing about it…How can he complain now? They have been together for years do you really think the way she talks to him just started?? Gimme a break!!!! Jon needs to stand up and be a man and stop acting like a scary biootch!!!!! Kate is well the machine behind the "church tours" where she leaves the kids almost weekly to go and beg money from unwitting church goers under the guise of "we're so poor."

You may have issues with men not being therte for you when you needed but it does not mean kate is right . I am a mother of 3 and I have had issues with men in my life but not every dad who didnt go to the party store as demanded is grounds for her anger she is always away and said it on the premier.

Is Jon really a grown man? He acts about as old as his kids. I'm by no means a Kate fan, but does this man have any balls at all??? It's certainly not her fault she's married to a man that can't stand up to her even once. How did you all think this was going to end?!
RESPECT. It's the foundation of any relationship. For yourself and your partner. Kate never could respect Jon and belittled him all the time, and he didn't respect himself enough to ever stand up. This wouldn't have worked, reality show or not. LAME.
This is such bullshit. I really don't believe any of these reports. When I watch the show the kids genuinely love her and Jon. The kids can't fake that. If Kate was that awful the kids would act scared of her and stuff.

Perez, I normally agree with your site's opinions on celebrity gossip but with the whole Kate thing I don't. This article may be the only one that really seems to give her any break. We don't live their lives and I can't deny that from the show she doesn't seem a bit bitchy but honestly this woman has to be. Watching the show it seems that she has to force Jon to get things done, she has to tell him multiple times to help out and when you listen to him it's obvious he doesn't take initiative. With 8 kids someone has got to step up and in this case it has always been Kate. Jon is the one who cheated or didn't cheat but atleast did something shady and I am so sick of seeing him portrayed as a victim.
And to comment on this direct story, if it is true that KAte put Jon on a budget it seems it had to be before the TLC money started rolling in since he was working at his first place of employment, meaning that a family of 10 was working off of some minimal income and Jon spending more than 5 dollars on lunch every day would really end up adding up. The whole storming into the office thing does seem absurd but even if she did do it, you don't keep a pregnant lady waiting for food.
In closing I just wish people would give Kate (and this whole thing) a break. To me it really seems that she's done her best.
