Britney Spears took a detour from the Circus tour to do a very glamorous photoshoot for Elle recently. Onlookers revealed that she looked stunning in the fabulous couture, but then the shoot took a disasterous turn.
"They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes — and, well, let's just say she forgot what time of the month it was," a source says. " It wasn't pretty."

I've gone through my change and thankfully no longer have them, but I have to say that it's difficult to know when you are really going to start to flow. I had "issues" about three times when I worked at a Theme park in my late thirties and between being twice as old as most of the kids working there and having bleed through in my uniform, I was treated like a freak. I have a lot of sympothy for Britney. When the your month vistor comes, there's no way to stop it and I for one hated wearing tampons and Maxipads are bulky and hard to hide. I challenge any woman out there to tell me she's never had this happen to her or that she enjoys wearing a pad. They suck, kiddies.
It's hard being a woman! This could really happen to anyone and it is mortifying enough without having the whole world know about it. Unless they're extremely regular, I think most women have had an accident or two in their lives. Yes, it's nasty, but it does happen, and I'm surprised that more women on this site aren't owning up to it.

That is not true. MANY women do not have PMS. The only cramps I have ever had were the ones I got right after I gave birth, which was my uterus going back to it's normal size.
I've not had a break out or even a single pimple since I was 16! The same goes for your other symptoms. It seems that you have seen one too many Midol commercials. Those are EXTREME symptoms, and MOST women do NOT get them.
It's also not as simple for some women to know that it will arrive in 3 days. MILLIONS of women are not regular.

i'm siding with britt. First off, as a women, sometimes accidents do happen. And I doubt it was mess. Why do men (and since the media is controlled by men, the media) seem to think that you like shoot out blood when youre on your period. It's not like that at all. Even on a heavy day, it's not pouring out like a constant faucet. She probably got some blood on them but not "covered" in blood. And shit, women can't help that they get periods, back the fuck off!
