Idol Judge Says: Of Course He's Gay!!!!
Wonder how Adam Lambert is going to feel about this?
The openly gay second-place winner on American Idol has just be outed publicly by a judge on the show. And it wasn't Paula Abdul!
The judge who may not be back next season, Kara DioGuardi, did a taped interview for The View which will air this Friday.
And, during the segment, Barbara Walters asked DioGuardi if she thought his "perceived sexuality" might have influenced the audience to vote for Kris Allen.
To which DioGuardi responded, "Well, first of all, I hope not … because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Lambert and Allen] had that. I don't think that Adam [Lambert] was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out."
Was he openly out? He's never confirmed it, despite many photographs revealing him kissing guys. And he's also REPEATEDLY refused to answer the question directly, when asked over the last week and a half if he is gay or not.
During a recent interview, he LAMEbert told to interviewer that he likes to have everyone "keep speculating."
When Walters reaffirms that it wasn't the public's perception that Lambert was openly gay, DioGuardi continued, "I think he was. I mean from what I've seen … I do. I never thought he wasn't."
Ohhhh… what has she seen??? Do tell!

Usually in depressed economic times like these, male homosexuality is accepted and sort of revered, (in the 1930's depression era, gay men were previlent in movies and gay clubs were popular in major cities).
In this current timeline in history, only lesbians are gaining social acceptance. As long as they don't want to get married.

For artists that want to be sexually ambiguous. SO WHAT? I am a fan of the glam rock era. And one of the great things about the idea of that era is that artists could just BE and not have people breathing down their necks asking them about their sexual orientation. If someone wants to say they are gay, well ok. If someone wants to leave it up in the air, because they just feel like living their life how they want; why can't people just leave it at that?

Ok, let's say for arguments sake, Adam 'comes out'. Then what? He's going to be the poster boy for gays? You'll respect him more? The only thing that will happen is that you will scream, "I was right!" and Adam will be forever labelled as gay and not as 'just an entertainer'. And I'm sure he knows this. There has NEVER been a rock or pop singer that successfully began a carreer being openly gay. Adam is so sweet, cute and talented but he can't have a career cause he is openly gay and people like Kara want to get their names in the headlines by focusing on it.
Oh Perez…while I won't say that we are at a point in life where the question of homosexuality is a moot point (ie: the day when "coming out" is, for the most part, not necessary, except to get laid), the fact with Mr. Lambert is that he is obviously a 'mo. Granted, all this does is perpetuate stereotypes about homosexuals, but, let's face it, when you're kissing guys as passionately as the photographs show, it's pretty clear which direction you swing.
If it were not necessarily easy to tell (like, say, Clay Aiken, although I thought it was obvious), that would be one thing. But he is clearly a fagala, and has shown young fagalas that you can be yourself, and, more importantly, you don't have to make excuses for yourself (I'm flamboyant because I'm queer).

i think what adam is doing is pretty clever….i mean, if i were a gay celeb and didn't REEEAAAALLY come out yet, i'd keep people guessing for a bit. only for the sake of keeping people interested. not that we wouldn't be interested otherwise, because he's a phenomenal performer and he'll be fine as far as his celeb status goes. but this is helping….and i think it's funny! he'll come out sooner or later.
I'm not usually one to criticize, but.. being so judgemental about the way he chooses to live his life is simply wrong.
