The countdown to their divorce is on, and we would not be surprised if an announcement came very shortly. Sad!
According to reports, Jon and Kate Gosselin have decided to take some time away from each other.
On the day of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 season premiere earlier this week, Memorial Day, Jon was spotted drinking a beer with two ladies at Front Street Bar & Grill in Newburgh, New York.
Kate was seen with the kids and bodyguard getting off a ferry on Bald Head Island, North Carolina.
Kate may be the villain, but at least she's spending time with the kids!

Kate might be a shrew but Jon is acting like a dink and needs to grow up.
:( how sad! you would think jon would have learned by now that drinking with girls doesn't end up too well for him..maybe he should be spending time with his 8 kids instead…

Had you watched the show you would've seen Kate say that Jon spent 2 months alone with the kids while Kate was out whoring her book and making accusations at Jon on national TV.
Even the world's greatest, most perfect father would need some time off after 2 months alone with 8 kids. Give him a break, it's not like he abandoned them. He did leave them with their mother (as much of a bitch as she is it's not like she is abusive or anything)

I personally have dealt with cheaters, Lord knows I have. Only one of them have "hit" me. He gave me a black eye, he broke my nose and I saw "stars". He is loooong gone now. Who cares if he's out… She was reportdely away from the kids for 23 days out of one month..and she said the kids have called her by the babysitters name. He said he didn't want to do the show anymore on last season's finale and she said we'll see. Seems Kate gets her way as usual. And since when did she ever care about fashion and make-up?? Did anyone catch her starting to cry on the show and then saying "I dont want to ruin my make-up".. They need to stop the show..it's awfully sad..

The few episodes I've watched show Jon ignoring the children and Kate asking him for his help. Kate is a bitch to him because he doesn't do anything without her asking or yelling at him to help out. Jon is douchbag!

maybe just maybe since they are separated (on the way to divorce) that they now have to "share" the time with the kids. don't for a moment think that kate is the innocent one here. who is the one taking care of the kids while they go to school and she's off hawking her ridiculous books and going to speaking engagements talking about her wonderful family. both are going to dry up soon if not already. it's scam baby! a scam! just like their "reality" show.
Jon strikes me as a man who took on the role of husband and father a little bit too son. It is obvious that he is now acting out by being photographed drinking and going to college parties and clubs. The more Kate is seen with their children alone the more she appears to the single mom who's doing it all on her own ( hint hint the premise for Kate Plus 8 perhaps???) I just think that if this couple really cared about the well-being of their children they would stop filming their show, stop with the books and the merchandise and just focus on the children.

My husband and I watch the show; even he was like, " I hope they work this out." Like to watch some of their home movies from when they were first dating, their first wedding, and honeymoon and to see them now it just made Monday's premiere so sad. They started off really happy and I would think it would be worth going to marriage counseling to sort out.

There is nothing wrong with her going on book tours in order to provide for the family. I think it is a major double standard to rag on kate for that and not other athletes or celebs that away from home for longer periods of time.

Actually, because OctoMom tried to build a reality show around her multiples, she's being sued by the state of California for child exploitation which would have happened to Jon and Kate years ago if they lived in NY or CA where laws appropriately protect children and allow them to have the respect and privacy they deserve.
