The countdown to their divorce is on, and we would not be surprised if an announcement came very shortly. Sad!
According to reports, Jon and Kate Gosselin have decided to take some time away from each other.
On the day of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 season premiere earlier this week, Memorial Day, Jon was spotted drinking a beer with two ladies at Front Street Bar & Grill in Newburgh, New York.
Kate was seen with the kids and bodyguard getting off a ferry on Bald Head Island, North Carolina.
Kate may be the villain, but at least she's spending time with the kids!

Jon has been with the kids non-stop for months while Kate was away promoting her books. He deserves a little time to himself. No need to jump to conclusions because you have one shot of Jon without the kids.
Why was it ok for Jon to go to work and leave Kate behind to look out for the kids? Why is it when Kate is working, it is not ok for her to be gone? Jon was not always at home watching his kids, pictures prove otherwise. While Kate was away working, he was out partying, well what a great dad. I can understand needing time away from your kids, but the weekend of their party. Kate may be a bitch, but he married her. It is inexcusable to say she drove him to this. If that is the way it works, then I wouldn't be surprised if Kate is cheating on Jon, because apparently she needs a real man, not a whiny, pansy-ass, feel sorry for me because for the last 2 months in 5 years I've had to stay home with my kids, boo-hoo jerk. Kate has been with them the rest of the time. She is not perfect and at least she acknowledges that, unlike Jon who hasn't done anything wrong, because he is sooo perfect.
Kate is a bitch, simple and plan. I would have killed to have met a guy like Jon when I was her age. She trapped him in this relationship by having ALL those kids and now she's making millions off her kids and having all kinds of "work"done on herself while her husband lives on five dollars a day. Don't believe me? Read the news. Kate is a F*cking bitch and I hope he dumps her and takes the kids and has his own show while she goes broke keeping her gigalo (aka body gaurd) in fancy suites.
It is really sad that they loved each other enough to bring these beautiful children into the world, but once you add fame and glamor into the mixture, the children and the relationship get pushed to the background, with the obvious result that both really end up suffering. I really wish that they would decide to get some counseling together and at least made a real, concentrated effort to save their marriage for the sake of the children. Because in a divorce everyone loses, and I really think that if they decided not to do another season of Jon & Kate and not to be constantly touring on book deals, that they could strengthen their relationship and their family, and maybe make their marraig elast after all.

Oh yeah and Jon I think acted like a jerk on the show on Monday. I hope they do work things out for the kids but other then that, Jon needs to grow up and stop acting like the 9th child. How many parents do you know that have help with their kids and then can still say I need a break. Shit I need a break.

This is bad anyway you look at it… sure Kate is spending time with the kids but whose to say it's genuine? she's a bitch and maybe she isn't allowing Jon time with the kids.. she said it on the premiere that the show is her Job.. she's looking at her kids as a Job and a paycheck so of course she will spend time with them because she wants the sympathy that America will be pouring out and she needs the money.. no surprise she had her trusty body guard with her because she could "front" with her kids and still get laid all in one trip.. and as for Jon, his ass needs to stay out the bars and got stand up to bitch Kate and let her know he's the man…. Just because there is a picture of Kate with the kids, does not mean she spends a lot of time with them. She said so herself. She said the show is the most important thing in her life. She has been gone 20 of the last 31 days. That is not spending time with your kids. Jon on the other hand has been a stay at home dad for two years. He takes the kids to school, dresses them, feeds them, etc. And if he wants a beer, who cares?? Kate needs to check herself before this goes on much more. What a bitch.
kate went to a country club in NC where my cousin works and my cousin got to meet her & said she was a total snob. I didnt understand y she still wanted to do the show but now i do….shes a camera whore just lyk Miley.

I used to like Jon but he's just another man going through an early midlife crisis. And I thought his interview on TLC the other night was very cold. He also needs to not throw his wife under the bus every chance he gets. I'm actually starting to feel a bit for Kate.
