Susan Boyle Threatens To Quit!

We mentioned earlier about Susan Boyle cracking under the pressure of her recent fame.
Well, Britian's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan heard about it too and he thinks people should lay off and leave poor Susan alone!
He told the Early Show that he was "feeling more supportive" of the Scottish singer and understands why she would react the way she did.
"You have to remember with Susan, she's a 48-year-old lady from a tiny village in Scotland who has never been exposed to anything like this kind of attention. And I think she's really feeling the heat."
He also revealed that Susan even threatened to leave the show because of the "sheer amount of pressure on her."
Celebrity isn't for everyone, but we want her to stick this out. It would be such a waste of a gift if she didn't!

If you're planning to audition for a show on live television where you know all over the world EVERYONE will like or hate you and you'll be judged by everything you do and followed everywhere you go, you have to be physically and especially mentally prepared for the people who'll come after you.
It is hard being pushed into the spotlight and having all that pressure on you, but Susan should have realized that if her talent got her in, she would have to deal with it all.
I've seen it happen ohhhh so many times. You get a bit of fame an it goes straight to your head….

I'm from London and am I the only person that thinks this woman is SO over rated?? No offense ofcourse she is a good singer, but her second performance on BGT wasn't all that, and there are other people in the competition who deserve to win, like Diversity. I like Susan Boyle don't get me wrong…just not that much : )

Poor Susan…I don't think she could've predicted just how popular she would get. I think she just wanted to sing on TV, have her week of being treated like a star, and then go home with a little adventure under her belt. I don't think she's personally equipped to handle all this media attention. But I'm sure she'll stick it out.
I am compelled to comment on Ms. Boyle's predicament. Susan, this is temporary, this ridiculous stalking. Please put it in perspective. As soon as the show is over, your career will take off no matter what the results are. Calm yourself, the paps are a momentary symptom of what you did (you blew us away!) and they are just trying to make some money off of you. The craziness will end quickly and you can go on with some real work. Ignore them. They're pathetic losers with no soul. You know what you are. Keep that strength for the battles that really matter. You are amazing.
Poor luv. Seriously! I can only imagine what it must be like to suddenly be so famous, albeit fleeting. Nontheless, she doesn't live in a security mansion in Beverley Hills or have millions of dollars to afford security and a driver to protect her from the paparazzi. I wish her all the best! There's a little bit of Susan in all of us…which is why she was such a sensation…not because she was the best singer.

It must be awful for her to hear what people are saying now after everyone was so positive at first. Sure there are better singers/performers out there, but this is a talent show for non-professionals. Susan Boyle comes from an unprivileged background and has a learning disability and has done a great job in overcoming these disadvantages. It isn't her fault that people have splashed her all over the media. Give her a break!
