Not-so-sweet Candy Spelling is pissed that an interview she gave yesterday about her late husband, TV producer Aaron, and estranged daughter, Tori Spelling, prompted this headline around the internet: Candy Spelling: Tori's Actions Killed My Husband Aaron Spelling.

To clarify, rotten Candy now says:
"I didn't intend to create headlines. I was asked a question about my daughter not speaking with my family, and I answered truthfully. My husband was very ill, and he had stopped eating and taking liquids. He called Tori on a daily basis, and never stopped asking if Tori had returned his call. We had to say no every day."

Even if it was the case that Tori didn't return her father's calls when he was close to dying, and coming from Candy I would say that is a less than reliable source, why would you drag that out in public? You have grandchildren that will read this crap one day, do you really need to malign their mother, who is your daughter? Honestly, I agree with Mary, I can see why Tori wants nothing to do with her…imagine growing up with that as a mother.

i vaguely remember that tori didn't even know how ill her father was after the stroke…did her mother not share this news with her daughter? didn't the man die a only a few days later? speculating here, but it looks as if candy was jealous of her daughter's relationship with her dad…they were close, yes? candy gets the horrible-mother-of-the-decade award!
