State Issues Investigation On The Go$$elins
With all the drama surrounding Jon and Kate Gosselin, it was only a matter of time until people started paying attention to the welfare of the children.
In fact, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is paying very close attention. They've even started a state labor investigation!
Officials are looking into whether TLC's show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is legally complying with all child labor laws.
According to Justin Fleming, the Labor Department's spokesman, the organization is looking into the family after a complaint was issued against the show.
Maybe the complaint came from Kate's envious $ister-in-law and brother?
As for TLC, they claim the show "fully complies" with the state laws and regulations.
If someone issued a fake complaint, we hope they get fined.
What do U think about the kids? Are they being over worked?

For a matter of fact Kate's sister and law and brother have nothing to be envious about… they are QUITE RICH for your information and are only concerned about the kids since THE KIDS have said to them that they don't like the cameras. Pay attention to things fat ass
No one acts the same when a camera is on as they do when there is no camera. No one acts the same with a house full of people as they act when they can be alone with just family. These kids get all kinds of freebies and special treatment. When do they have a normal life? When they grow up they will expect all the perks and attention to go on and they will be left with nothing
That's ridiculous! Like TLC would not comply with Child Labor Laws, they have more shows than Jon and kate, I think they are smarter than that. The complaints are coming from a greedy jealous family member.
This was a Hot Topic on The VIEW yesterday. Barbara Walters made the point that child stars now have laws protecting their money and are entitled to ALL of their money. These children are not protected in this way and their parents get ALL the money. These kids have no guarantee that their interests will be protected in the future. Mom and Dad can spend ALL their money ( and by all accounts KATE is) and the kids will have nothing.

All they are trying to do is be kids and have fun! they have no idea whats going on with their parents and now people are bringing things up on the kids! like wow, they are just trying to play. i love jon&kate plus 8, its one of my favourite shows! this is just getting stupid now! leave the kids alone!

For sure this came from Jodi, the evil and money-hungry sister-in-law and that backstabbing and jealous brother! WTF? The kids are not working, they are living in their homes, playing, eating and having fun… just being themselves! I hope this leads to a huge fine against this obnoxious couple who are in a mission to try to destroy Jon and Kate.

People in California are freaking out about the child labor involved in her selling her story, but that's how she's providing for her kids and obviously Radar online is paying for her to take the older kids on fun trips so they can film them! I'm sure those poor kids never got to do any of that stuff before the octuplets came along. Same with the gosslins-without the sextuplets to exploit they wouldn't have much at all, and those kids wouldn't get do have the great things they have or do the fun things they've done. Not saying I'm for this explotation-just agreeing with the point.

if those kids didn't enjoy being on camera..they wouldn't. its pretty hard to convince 5 year olds to do something they don't want to do. From watching the show they seem to enjoy having the camera around, and its not like they're constantly being filmed, they do have privacy.. or they did until the paparazzi started following them around. The kids seem do deal pretty well with the "fame" too, like when Kate said she gets them to call the paparazzi the "p-people" in school so that kids dont think they are stuck up.
I think people just need to leave them alone for a little while, let them sort everything out and then hopefully come back stronger.

It's not a question of "work", they are being exploited and constantly have cameras in their faces. They are too young to consent to this or even realize what is going on. There should be laws against this sort of thing, and the very idea that two parents would subject their children to this is disgusting….although not surprising, unfortunately.
how can these kids be over worked they just play and live their life in front of the cameras. The kids are not given scripts of what to say which is so obvious when you watch the show! complete BS it was just jodi trying to get more money!
