"Kentuckiana Pug Rescue is a volunteer based, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization (permit # P09-001703) committed to helping all needy Pugs in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. We work to find both abandoned, as well as surrendered Pugs, loving, forever homes in which they can live out the rest of their lives."

The Kentuckiana Pug Rescue says, "The downturn in the economy has forced more and more people to give up their beloved Pugs, and while we want to help every single one, we simply do not have an adequate number of foster homes to keep up with the number of dogs coming in. We are having to close our rescue to incoming Pugs. We hope that we will be able to recruit new foster homes and new adoptive homes, and will be taking Pugs again very soon."

why would you want one of these dogs? They are predisposed to all kinds of health problems, and mostly, they are disgusting, panting/out of breath, fat little slobs. There eyes look like their blood-presure is about to explode their heads.
They are so damned ugly that they are adorable.

From the bottom of my heart thanks for listing us (KPR) as a worthwhile cause! We have over 130 of these precious babies in our Rescue right now. With the economic downturn, we have been taking Pugs in at an alarming rate..therefore, we have run out of Foster Homes. Any exposure we can get to help promote the cause that means so much to us, is greatly appreciated! thank you everyone for your thoughts, donations, and support at this very difficult time. We spend over 90,000 a year on medical expenses and we are a 100 % non profit , competely volunteer based organization. PUGS ROCK!!!! and it is our hope that we can open the doors to incoming Pugs again very soon. Keep us in your thoughts everyone!!!
Thanks again for posting about pug rescues. Pugs are wonderful, kind, sweet dogs. I have one from a rescue and she is great! Perfectly healthy, and NOT fat. I can't believe anyone would say they are disgusting.
This is such a worthwhile cause…please donate! As for that Annie person, all dogs have issues and you should not judge a book by its cover. Pugs are so loving and friendly, unlike you.
