According to Billboard, Sade is in the studio working on a new album!
FINALLY!!!!!!!
It's been almost a DECADE since her last album of new material!
The reclusive soul singer, who is known to take lengthy breaks during releases, has regrouped with her band and aims to release the album by the end of the year.
Fellow Sony recording artist and friend Maxwell has apparently heard the new tracks to which he said, "Trust me, it's so monolithic it'll shake you in your shoes!"
We can't wait!!!!!!
Sade's last album, Lovers Rock, came out in 2000!

anyone who hasn't heard of Sade doesn't deserve to listen to music ever again. Her voice is legendary, she makes artists these days look like amateurs. I can't wait for the new stuff. I love Maxwell too, ive seen them both in concert multiple times. You dont have to be old to appreciate music like Sade, Im only 26, you just have to have TASTE.

If only all music artists could be like Sade…cool yet mysterious, beautiful, but not a sexed up doll, famous, but not a celebrity. She records an every 8 years or so, and people still buy it when it comes out. In between those periods, you don't hear anything from her or about her (well, except for that one unfortunate traffic incident..but, really…who else remembers that). She lives a private life, and her fans respect that.
