I was really mad when I found out that she did that. IT is adams business. I don't go around saying that I or my friends are straight, why is it necessary to say someone is gay? It isn't . Adam has a choice. Kara made it for him, and that is so wrong

Adam is crucified by gays for not being gay enough right now. In another few weeks after his Rolling Stone article they will crucify him for being too gay. Adam has suffered his whole life at the hands of homophobes. Now it's his own gay community that is causing him to suffer and to lose his career which he's been working his ass off to achieve for 10 years.
Kara did not do anything wrong. She did not"out" him she just said that she never thought he was not "out." I never came out "out" and say I am straight. People just know from how i am and well the people i kiss. It is a non-issue.

If it's a non issue, why is it newsworthy? Adam is not closeted, there is no need to out him to feed an original frustration against people who do not own who they are. He does. His way of going about it and the impact he will have will clearly benefit, and is more suited for, the equal rights movement upcoming battles. Here is a guy who is a class-act. He's also gay, which makes absolutely no friggen differences hence, he should be able to enjoy every single civil right I get to enjoy.

Re: megandrew – Megandrew, that was so well put. I think that so often, people who come from minority groups become trapped between two worlds once they're in the public eye. They are in this "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation, where members of their own group won't support them if they don't "represent" them well enough, and the rest of the public won't support them if they are too fill-in-the-blank (gay, ethnic, basically just different, which makes a lot of people uncomfortable). It's a shame; Adam, and people in general, should just be allowed to be themselves. He can be gay and also just a human being and publicly, a great performer who is recognized as just that and nothing more.
