      I definitely think that two gay people can love each other as much two people of opposite sex. I'm not homophobic, one of my best friends is a lesbian and she has slept in the same bed as me. I think people are born gay, I don't think being gay is a lifestyle choice. I also believe that marriage as a term is a union between a man and a woman. I don't see why people have a problem with people that consider marriage to be between a man and a woman. Marriage is a subjective term. Stop pretending that your beliefs are superior to those of others. I actually have no problem with the legalizing of gay marriage. It doesn't bother me if what the government defines as marriage differs from what I do so I'm not presenting an anti-gay marriage argument here, I'm just saying that I think marriage is between a man and a woman. People act like it's such a bad thing to think that.

      Why shoudn't people be allowed to marry multiple people? If close to 50% of ALL "marriages" end in divorce and then those people get remarried, why can't I have several spouses at once. You only have to consumate a marriage once, so I could emotionally love all of them at the same time and not have to f*!k every night. If we are gonna change the definition of marriage why not amend it to address the various ways all people are born? I was born straight, but unfortunately not monogamous. Why shouldn't I be allowed to have the same rights you're asking for? Let's not forget that GOD meant for people to reproduce beggining in their early teens so lets lower the age limit while we're at it.

      5) The government promotes taking blacks as slaves.

      Those are the merits of the argument in favor of gay marriage.

      But most importantly, anyone who believes in our Constitution and what it stands for, must support gay marriage. Because the protection of people who are different from us and their rights is the Constitution’s most important function. We founded this country on diversity– the great melting pot. There was a time when we considered that diversity our greatest strength. And now, the majority are able to go to the poles and vote to take away a Constitutionally protected right from a minority group. Even if you’re not in favor of gay marriage– you have to see how terrifying that notion is. Because, no matter who you are– a white male from Missouri even– at some point, you too will find yourself in the minority. And I promise you that whether we agree with your cause or not, the gay and lesbian community will stand with you to fight for your liberties.

      Based on the kids shirt I'm guessing this predates the whole gay marriage /prop 8 debacle. That said, nowhere does the child say "man and woman" just "two people" and with that I agree wholly. Remember, children are brutally honest so if a kid doesn't specify male/female why should we?
