TLC's most popular show, Jon & Kate Plus 8 has continued to get huge ratings since further reports of their marital woes.
According to the Nielsen ratings, the second episode of the new season this week garnered 5.9 million viewers, easily making it the most watched cable program of Monday night.
Before all this drama, the show only had 3 million viewers at best!!
If they have anymore problems, the Gosselins will be able to put all 8 kids through college and provide them with the necessary therapy when this ends!

I love this show. I think it's wrong that the media is exploiting this family. Maybe Kate micromanages everything, but wouldn't you too if you had eight kids to care for and empire to keep up. I think Jon and Kate are two great people who are getting thrown in front of a bus for money (the bus being the tabloids). It is a shame that the paparazzi are following the brood around, they don't need all the extra attention, they are a family just like anyone else. Leave them alone all you paparazzi assholes!

seriously, why would anyone want to watch this 'show'? i have my own stuff to deal with on a daily basis. i don't need to look to some scripted family to commiserate with my stuff. i talk to friends. they need to pull the cameras out of their house and start thinking about whether to save their family or make the break. but either way, without the whole nation watching. well, the whole nation minus me.
That Kate sure is a bitch and a half. Her husband seems to have broken his pledge of marital fidelity and he needs to know that unless he repents and changes his ways he will spend all of eternity burning in hell.

I really think we're being played on this one. Is it a coincidence that the Jon had an affair just before the start of the 5th season, with pictures and video no less. Kate planned this whole thing to knock the Octo-Mom off the tabloids and cement her position as the queen of octuplets and it worked.

What you did NOT write is the ratings were half of what they were the previous week. I hope it goes away soon, I have too much shit in my own life to follow what these 2 immature idiots called parents do or don't do that ruin thier kids lives!
those poor poor kids… i used to love this show but this is rediculous…
they deserve more normalcy in their childhood. i'm afraid these 8 beautiful children will grow up extremely affected by all of this

Anyone who loves this show is as messed up as they are. Bickering spouses, whiney kids and exploitation… makes me wonder what goes on behind closed doors if this is what they see fit to share with the world.
No one actually thinks there is going to be any money left to put those kids through college, do they? Pennsylvania has NO laws requiring that money be put aside for those eight kids, and gone it will be.
I honestly don't know how anyone can watch that show and not feel dirty afterwards.

The children were given full scholarships by the state of PA at birth. They don't need the money from the show to do that.

i love this show… And of course Jon and kate are gonna have problems… they have two sets of multiples!!! I think ppl just need to back off!!!! there isn't much except this show they can do to support their children!!!

Since this show started Kate has treated her husband like a total bitch. She's a controlling know it all. If I were him I'd be cheating too. Perhaps he found someone that actually treats him with some love and attention.

The only reason people don't like the show now is because of the tabloids. They can't help all the gossip that is said about them it is bound to happen but in the end it helps their ratings and their wallets.
This show is not scripted! They cant help the tabloids and gossip that is said and it is ruining their marriage but their show is still real life.
