Will The Arquettes Reprise Their Roles In Scream?

Scream writer-director Kevin Williamson has tapped Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette to appear in the upcoming Scream sequel.

Why???

We think the horror flicks would be much better off without them!

The Arquettes met on the set of the original film back in 1996 when David, playing Deputy Dewey, charmed Courteney, who held the role of news reporter Gail Weathers. The two have been together ever since.

Let the Arquettes be - bring back Neve Campbell instead!

We want Sidney!

You have to bring them Back!!! Gail weathers was a huge part of the story. IN scream three It ended with their characters, sydney, and Patrick Dempsey watching a movie. I would like them to bring back Parker Posey!!!

I LOVED THE FIRST ONE…THE SECOND WAS OK….ANYTHING ELSE IS SOOO UNNEEDED!!! STOP MAKING REMAKES AND SEQUELS OF DUMBASS HORROR MOVIES! IN GENERAL HORROR MOVIES ANYMORE ARENT HORRORIFING, THEY'RE COMICAL BECAUSE THEY'VE COME SO OUTLANDISH AND STUPID…MORE OR LESS THEY'RE GORY COMIDIES

abso-fucking-lutely wrong, Pereza! When i thought Gail's character was doing something right, she actually was, but only for her own benefit and it really messed up with things. i loved it. I hope they bring her back completely fucked up, self centered, but good deep inside…

Perez are you kidding me they were some of the best characters in the scream trilogy gale weathers rocked and dewey was also great . As far as Neve Campbell goes she acts the same in almost every damn movie confused and breathless but she is still a very big part of the whole picture bring them all back I say!

I thought Scream 3 tied everything up nicely and it was really good as far as sequels go. A 4th is probably not going to be good.

If Perez read anything else beside his website, he'd know they're in talks with Neve too. They want all three to do a cameo. The new movie will feature a new cast of young actors and there are also talks about it being a new trilogy.

Whoa Perez - completely disagree with you on this one - Courteney as Gale Weathers absolutely made Scream what it was - the bitchiness and trashiness of the character was hilarious and Courts did an amazing job!
Sure, i'm not too keen for a Scream 4 as i think Scream 3 wrapped it up pretty well, but it won't do half aswell without Courteney, Neve and David - and even though you want Neve - its all 3 of them that could make it work, not just one or two of them.
