Chris Pine may have found his much anticipated follow up to Star Trek!!

The actor is in negotiations to star opposite Denzel Washington in the Tony Scott directed Unstoppable.

The film follows a veteran train engineer (Washington) about to be laid off as part of corporate cutbacks and the new conductor (Pine) hired to replace him. Both find themselves fighting against time to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying enough combustible liquids and poisonous gas to wipe out the city.

Costarring with Denzel and being directed by Tony Scott?!

Good move, Chris!

      Good move really? When did Denzel have a hit last? I can only think of American Gangster…And how many of his films have flopped??

      I would say 90% of them underperformed. And Tony Scott… his movies really haven't set the box office on fire. A quick search of google will prove this point.

      I love Chris, but that plot involves a train which brings to mind The Taking of Pelham 123 or whatever the heck it is called, which looks absolutely horrible. Hopefully a Denzel/Chris movie would be better.
