Kill Bill and Kung Fu star David Carradine has passed away.

The 72-year-old was found dead in his hotel room in Thailand, where he was working on his latest film, Stretch.

According to his manager, his death is "shocking" because "He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person."

It's unknown at this point whether he died of natural causes or if the actor committed suicide.

Its obvious by the link that he did indeed committed suicide which makes it an unfortunate case. Its ironic to hear about his passing especially after seeing Kill BiLL 1 & 2 last weekend, which is one of my all time favorite movies. Although his sudden death is a wonder I hope he finds peace.

Re: contrarianchick – I don't agree with you. Unless you are in severe, extreme pain (i.e. dying of cancer or AIDS or something equally severe), suicide should never be an option. One can live in good health well into their 80's, 90's, even 100's nowadays. Life can be beautiful, even in the bad times there is still so much beauty in the world that suicide does not need to be the way to go.

I don't know people, the hotel said he committed "suicide" and this would make hotel #3 in Thailand to have a foreigner die while visiting.

I'm just saying don't believe everything you hear. A good friend of my sister's was murdered in Thailand last year. He was jumped and killed leaving a bar, was left to die on the sidewalk right outside the door. The bar owner gave a false statement to the cops even though he saw these dudes eyeballing him all night, and the cops took the statement because they did not want to be famous for having an American get snuffed on their soil. Could be suicide, but the dude was making a movie so that seems really sudden to do it now. Who knows…
