Why is it OK to spay and neuter dogs while it is objectionable to spay and neuter homosexuals, lesbians, retards and immigrants? Something is wrong in this country if is it is OK to euthanize dogs but not sodomites and sinners?

  2. 2

I'm happy you're posting about helping shelters, but why not practice what you preach? You buy a "designer breed" aka MUTT, which displaces homes for the millions of dogs in the shelters, instead of adopting one. STOP SUPPORTING BREEDERS AND PUPPY MILLS!

  3. 3

less charities and more gossip! faggo.

  4. 4

I support this foundation every year. Just because someone chooses a breeder over a puppy mill doesn't make them bad. If everyone would donate $1 or $5 to this wonderful foundation then this would continue to help offset those who do choose a breeder over a rescue. I, myself, have two boston terriers where they both came from top breeders, but I also rescue boston terriers and place them in loving homes. So don't hate those who choose a breeder, there are many benefits to choosing a breeders(health, behavior, pure bred, etc.). I will continue to help rescue dogs and give financially in every way possible to help as many find loving homes. Bless Cesar Millan.

    uh….those dogs scare me

Re: Koziiiiii – Oh you're so wonderful! Please be careful that you don't hurt your arm while you're reaching around to pat yourself on the back.

  7. 7

Awww such beautiful pits. Wish people would really get to know the breed and find out how wonderful they are. I have one who is 6 yrs old and hes the most wonderful dog Ive ever owned.

  8. 8

There are more worthy animals in shelters than messed up pit bulls. You couldn't have used a picture of a non ghetto dog?

  9. 9

from what i hear, they clean up a fagly real good. something to rethink about…ejacuface.

Re: always moving forward – I totally agree with you. There is alot of misconception about this breed. I myself have one and he is the sweetest dog. It's not the dogs that are mean, it is the owners that SHOW them to be mean. The dogs only do what the owners show them to do.

  11. 11

    Re: always moving forward

My own pit bull was adopted from a similar organization, and she has been nothing but joy to me and anyone who has come in contact with her. My boarders can't wait until I go on vacation, so they'll be able to keep her. And I do have problems with puppy mills, but I do agree with Koziiiiii in terms of breeders; not all of them do so for profit.

  12. 12

Re: zebragirl – I also have a blue pit who is the sweetest dog I've every owned. I also have a rescue that weighs about 5 pounds (not a pit) and he is mean to Duke (my pit)! Any pit who is raised correctly is not mean or aggressive.

I have 3 Pit Bulls, and no we do not live in the ghetto, I've never been arrested, and I'm not planning a rap career.

  15. 15

i love cesar! he is the best

  16. 16

Re: a40sgal – their not ghetto dogs, i'm a professional, white woman and i have 4 beatiful pits that are the love of my life and they would never hurt a fly

  17. 17

Pit bulls are an amazing breed! I have 4 and their so loving and wouldn't hurt anything. I wish people would stop being so ugly toward them. It has nothing to do with the breed, its the owner. It makes me sick to see people walking them with those huge spikes around their neck and u can tell their the ones who make their dogs mean. My pits are the most loving dogs i have ever had. Now if you broke in my house or tried to hurt me that would be another story they would probably eat you alive. Their very loyal to their owners if you treat them right.

  18. 18

Re: a40sgal – You clearly show your ignorance in suggesting that pitbulls are 'ghetto' dogs. Know what you say before you say it.

  19. 19

I knew I recognized Daddy in that picture!! (the reddish one) He's such an amazing dog. And Cesar is absolutely my hero!

  20. 20

All you pit bull owners are dangerously delusional. The truth is: dogs of ANY breed raised in a loving home CAN attack without warning or provocation. Dogs are carnivores plus biting is their only defense. The difference is a pit, because of its jaw strength, will do serious damage. If you people would quit "rescuing" these dogs, people would quit breeding them. If you don't believe they're dangerous, google it and you will find thousands of stories of loving "responsible" pit bull owners who were shocked when their loyal pet attacked someone out of the blue.

  21. 21

Re: KeyLimePie – Yes and in over 90% of the cases of pit bull attacks, the 'responsible' owners were no where around. Common sense is when you have any dog, especially a strong breed as a pitbull, always be responsible and watch the dog. Read their body language. I've walked my pit many times and not once has he tried to attack anyone or any other dog. If anything, he's been approached by small breed chihuahua's and yorkies that are the aggressive ones, not him. Should all pits be put down because of the ignorant stigma that surrounds them b/c of ignorant people? These dogs are sweet dogs, it just takes alot of patience and understanding to raise them. The breed is not for the weak, that's for sure.

  22. 22

Everyone says their pitbull is a sweetheart until it kills a child. Those dogs were bred to kill and should all be put down.

  23. 23

I work at an animal hospital right next to Jersey City ( which has one of, if not the highest pit bull population ) and I can tell you from experience these dogs are not the horrible creatures the media makes them out to be. Usually the smaller breeds are the ones that come in and try to bite. It is a shame that whenever there is a story about a pit it is in the media it is a bad one. If you pitbull haters spent 10 min with this breed you'd fall in love instantly. Before pits, rottweilers and dobermans had the bad rap. If you want to meet an aggressive dog, meet my dalmatian!

  24. 24

Re: Mylee – There are exceptions to any rule, but look at the pic. At least one of those dogs has a obvious, permanent injury from fighting. Maybe you don't do that but other trashy people do and have probably helped ruin this breed. These dogs can be dangerous because of their snap temper and lock jaws. I certainly hope you don't have small children around these dogs!

    Re: a40sgal
    a40sgal
Yes I do have kids around my dogs. My mama dog stopped some perv from entering our backyard while they were out there and I was watching through a window….I then called the police and the man was caught a block over at a PARK!! Pits do not have "lock jaws" since you are on the internet you should research pit bull myths and try not to base your opinions on everything you hear. I doubt you, yourself, have never even met a pit bull. PEOPLE have been far more devastating to this breed of dog than they could ever be to us. You would be amazed at what these dogs can go through and still want to be loved so much. I hope you find that kind of love and loyalty in your life time.
To all of you that want to educate yourself on what amazing dogs Pit Bulls can be….. google Wallace the Pit Bull. BAN STUPID PEOPLE NOT DOGS!

  26. 26

Re: Mylee – Very well said.

  27. 27

Pits are the most misunderstood of all breeds.
If U treat them right and love them they will follow U to hell.
My ex had SUPER LARGE DOS-Great Pyrenees and and a Saint Bernard Mastiff. They were some of the dumbest dogs I have ever meet.
But our pit…she was beautiful and sweet. Beautiful blue eyes and smooth carmel coat.
    I miss my girl!

  28. 28

i have a pitbull and all she does is lick people to death.
its all about how they are raised.

  29. 29

It's not about how they're raised. They're animals. They were bred to be violent and unstable, and you can't nurture away their instincts. Unlike other dogs, they can tear a person apart and do not merely snap and retreat. They latch on.

If you think loyal, loving, responsible pit bull owners don't raise dogs who kill people, then you're willfully blinding yourself to the truth. These dogs SNAP, and there are hundreds of documented cases. Just like the owner of that chimp that went nuts, the owners wail and carry on about how gentle the dog was until the day it tore someone's throat out. The victim must have done something to alarm it.

Who cares if it happened because no one was watching it or "reading its body language"? Who cares what its intentions were? No "pet" should be capable of killing a person.

Ask yourself why people insist on perpetuating this breed. You can rattle off a long list of its desirable characteristic, and there are 20 other breeds that meet the criteria. If a toy, a chemical, or an additive had a fraction of the casualties that pit bulls have, the public would stamp it out of existence.

Re: OKCBigEasy – Perfect example of ignorance.

  31. 31

I support this! We all need to care and support what is going on in our world and not just ignore it. Thanks Perez!

  32. 32

Re: OKCBigEasy – U are SOOO stoopid. …My princess , Ive had since she was 4 weeks old. Shes almost 11. I take her EVERYWHER…EVERYONE plays with her….In our home and yard, however, if u try to get in without being invited….that might be a diffrent story…Same as her owner…Ill play nice with you and everything, but u tryin to come in our yard or home without being invited, THATS A DIFFRENT STORY.

Its ALL how these dogs are arised. Thank that punk Vick whatever his name is, for tryuly bringing the fidghting of these dogs into nowadays mainstream……

U idiots, research before u cut down my 4 legged brindle beautiful princess daughter……..Its the OWNER who fucks these 'guys' up 9.5 times out of 10, then the breed

  33. 33

Re: Ida Kno – Yes, Yes, Yes…Thank You. I love my pit, he is absolutely the best.

  34. 34

pit bulls are one of the most loving dogs with the worst rep. i have a pit who is 3 years old and shes the most friendliest dog ever. she loves people and listens well. the only time she barks is when she feels she needs to protect me. shes very over protective of the family and is very good to us. she just got puppies and they're 6 weeks now. one is staying with me and she is also sweet like her mother. people need to give pits a chance. i first thought pits were dangerous fighting dogs but after having one they're not dangerous at all and gets along well with my other dog which is a miniature maltese

  35. 35

Re: Amphitrite – you really shouldn't generalize all pit bulls. there may have been incidents where pits have attacked but look into it. they never attack for no reason. my pit has gotten out of my house twice. and never has she attacked anyone. i live in a suburban area with alot of asians with tiny dogs. they often walk their dogs in the afternoon and my dog has gotten out during that time. i've ran out after her and of course people scream and get scared because of what they hear about pits but she has never bitten anyone. she listens to me and comes back into the house. if pits were such vicious killing dogs designed to kill, then why doesn't she just eat up my maltese? they've lived together in the same house for 3 years with no trouble.
