Oh, Beth Ditto? We think Katy Perry read your interview!
And Katy is none too pleased.
The leading lady of The Gossip recently slammed Katy for "faking lesbianism" in her songs, such as I Kissed A Girl, and that she found her songs "offensive to gay culture."
Ever the dignified artist, Katy took the high road and instead of calling Beth a big, dumb moo-moo cow, she simply attempts to put Beth in her place, saying: "I heard that she said something about me. I don't want to get into a slanging war with anybody, so I don't want to say anything bad about her. But I'm not impressed. I've learned in the past year that one artist should never insult another artist's music — it's tacky. And with me, it always comes back to bite me on the arse!"
Response Beth?

Beth Ditto is ignorant just like Perez. How does that song have anything to do with being a lesbian? It's called experiementing. I kissed a girl one time, and I liked it (seriously), but I am not a lesbian. Beth Ditto needs to lose some weight and quit flaunting herself.
I read that many of you said Beth Ditto had a point….No, there is no point. She is taking a jibe at Katy and trying to say she is putting down gay people. Everyone jumps on the bandwagon when they think someone is being racists or prejudice. Simmer down.
Katy Perry is a talented, beautiful and classy lady.

Final Note, Perry had class in her statement. Ditto went on lame comments and teetered for someone including a piece of gay culture in her songs as well as leaning a statement against bi-sexual's.
