All I have to say is how in the hell did this happen in my state?
I mean I personally don't care, but the mere fact that people around here rampage if you say something remotley liberal is hypocritical.

Slickwilley: I've personally know Robert Byrd all my life, my grandpa lived next door to him. He never once hid the fact he was in the KKK from me, never, even though I'm 16. He apologizes for what he did, and he got out..so what does that have to do with anything anyways? The KKK is a white supremecy group not a anti-gay group.

I'm very proud of my home state. This is just one step forward for progress. As a straight woman with many gay friends, I accept and welcome this change to the state of West Virginia.

I'm from WV! This is great!!! Fuck anyone who doesn't like West Virginia. You're all morons and should stop talking shit on us. WV has one of the most stable economies of any state in the country and Morgantown, WV has the lowest unemployment rate of any town in America.

This is disgusting. They are considering what is best for the two lesbians, not what is best for the child. According to WV law, the two lesbos are not legally allowed to adopt the child and will never be allowed to legally adopt the child. At some point the child is going to be adopted and be taken away from the lesbian couple. It would be much be better for the child to be placed with a hetero couple who might adopt the child in the future rather than allow the child to stay with a couple who will never be able to adopt the child.
