I lived in london for over a year…and NO there is not so much sun in the UK..allthough Jordan alias Katie Price was for quite a while in LA.

Well of course - tanorexia is at pandemic proportions here in the UK, they are obsessed with the stuff. The more radioactive the orange, the better - they practically glow in the dark. Being non-British myself I know what a proper tan looks like and would never succumb to this disability, but the poor Brits are a bit confused… And it seems the further North you go, the more widespread the affliction.
And this is why i live in Guam.

Re: gymbunny – I was in the UK on vacation recently and I hate to break it to you guys, but most of the people on the street did look orange to me….or maroon in really bad cases. I was mystified as to how and why people would do this to themselves. I know girls who have messed up on their tans, but the UK is the only place I've seen the neon orange.

Re: Apt. 54 – tanning by using beds or the sun doesnt usually turn ppl orange…but spray tans and bronzing lotions are what turn ppl orange…i grew up with a tanning bed in my house, and i was never orange or any of my family that used it were orange…but my cousin used a bronzer lotion and she has an orange tint…and ppl i know that spray tan also have that same orange tint..like these two idiots above…if only they knew how stupid they looked….but i dont tan anymore, ive gotten really scared of gettign skin cancer and ive seen how much it ages ppl…now im all about the SPF!!! lol

I beg to differ, but her tan IS natural here! She has been in the maldives for two weeks, so no, it isn't an 'English' tan, but it is natural. My dad goes the same colour as her naturally, and tbh, so do I if I stay in the sun to long. It's how your skin reacts, everyones different. I'm not saying it's a good look, but it is a 'real' tan, if a very overdone one.
