Christian Metal Rocker Marries Religious Hooker!

A Christian heavy metal guitarist and a "Hooker For Jesus" tying the knot???
It's a match made in heaven!
Literally!
Oz Fox, guitarist of the 80's Christian hair metal outfit Stryper, and Annie Lobért, the founder of Hookers For Jesus, were married in a ceremony at the Church of South Las Vegas this weekend.
The couple's nuptials were also broadcast live online for all of the internet to see!
Lobért founded Hookers for Jesus, a group that "an international, faith-based organization that addresses the realities of human sex trafficking, sexual violence and exploitation linked to pornography and the sex industry."
Annie worked as a prostitute for a total of 11 years, but after hitting rock bottom, Lobért turned to Jesus and the Christian faith for help.
The former hooker now spends her nights on Vegas street corners spouting the gospel to prostitutes as well as gifting them with bibles.
She's on a mission!
Congrats to the happy couple!

LOL. Too funny.
hmmm, not quiet sure what to say!
EQUALITY FOR ALL!
What the hell did I just read? Fucking wacko Christians. Never cease to amaze me.
Uhhh hahaha
She could have at least been a little more creative with the name. Hookers for Jesus? Come on that just sounds bad.
GOOD FOR HER!!
WHAT AN AMAZING, WONDERFUL WOMAN AND HE SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT GUY AS WELL!!!
I HOPE FOR ONLY THE BEST FOR BOTH OF THEM AND I WILL BE PRAYING FOR THEIR MARRIAGE TO BE WONDERFUL, WHICH IM SURE IT WILL BE!!!!!!
lol…everyone has their match.
The former hooker now spends her nights on Vegas street corners spouting the gospel to prostitutes as well as gifting them with bibles…..now we know who to blame for the decrease in tourism in vegas.
People are crazy.
is this for real? its not a joke? uh ok……
ok, she WAS a hooker. I don't find anything strange about their relationship. It is strange that she teaches the gospel on Vegas street corners.
I LOVE STRYPER!!! This may also be in conjuction to promote their new tour!
I am not a fan of many christian organizations, but hookers for Jesus actually provides support for women in the sex trade without judging. I am basing this on interviews I have seen with them. If Jesus were here he would not be at the country club or the shopping mall he would be with street walkers, drug addicts, the unemployed, the sick, the abused etc.
I am a huge proponent of harm reduction and if you don't know what this means check it out.
The christians will get her out eventually…
Re: hotcandie6 – You have a great point that Christians should be out helping people who most need it. It is not often I feel good about Christian organizations, but this one seems OK.
Actually I have been a HUGE fan of Stryper for many, many years and I had known about Oz and Annie's relationship for a while. They are a true down to earth couple and her story about how she got out of that horrible life is truly amazing. Congratulations to them!
Please, for the love of God, learn the CORRECT use of the word "literally" before raping it to try to sound smarter than you actually are. It wouldn't kill you to open a dictionary once in a while.
Awesome. Kudos, Perez for reporting on something outside of YOUR comfort zone.
perez, darling: this is OLD NEWS!!!!!!!!!
Annie Lobert is doing an AMAZING job!!! Congrats to the happy couple
Annie's really sweet. I've met her. She is doing some great things for women trapped in the sex industry. It's not just about religion- her "ministry" has a lot to do with helping women break out of the abuse that comes along with being a prostitute. It's like…hooker rehab, I guess. She's cool.
I'm not going to judge… But that was out of the far left side of left field.
I LOVE STRYPER!!! This may also be in conjuction to promote their new tour! Re: VioletWorld –
Stryper are going on tour? They are one of my brother's favorite bands. I'd actually buy my brother and myself a ticket to see Stryper. My brother has seen them a couple of times already of course, but I've never seen them.
Re: Cottonquinn – go to pollstar. com and check it out - it's the 25 year or 20 year anniversary!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
:D
I believe I recall the night Annie met Oz…Oz came down to hang out with my husband's now ex-band and play a few tunes. "The Word" seemed to be the last thing she was looking to spread, considering her painted on jeans, stripper heels, bleached-out hair and 5 pounds of makeup. Whatever.
