Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf must bond over a few joints after work since Megan thinks the green light should be given to legalize weed.
The Transformers actress admits to GQ that she would be the "first person in line to buy a pack of joints" and that she has no idea why it still has a stigma attached to it.
"I can't tell you how much bullshit I've been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed…People look at it like it's this crazy, hippy, fucked up thing to do. And it's not. I hope they legalize it."
And when that happens, the stock of Cheetos and Ho-Hos is just going to skyrocket!
But we wouldn't hold our breath for that one, Megan. Just stick close to Shia, his 'rents have the hook-up.

As an ex pothead I can safely say with considerable knowledge and experience that pot is indeed a destructive drug. By advocating and promoting it Megan is doing her rep and intelligence no favours whatsoever.

My kids are all well educated, gainfully employed, happy and balanced. I suppose marijuana for some is a crutch or even a gateway drug. However these people usually have much bigger issues than smoking the odd dube here and there. I suspect their lives would be fucked up even if they never heard of marijuana. Then some quit, become all holier than thou and write stupid comments without realizing that all along their problems were with themselves and not the pot they smoked.

And for the record I smoked pot for over 25 years and am also teritary educated and have always be gainfully employed. i love how all the arguments against weed are that it can ruin your life…so why is alcohol legal? Alcohol is much more physically harmful and causes actual physical dependency (weed causes no physical dependency, though perhaps emotional/psychological, which alcohol also causes). Anyways, just like alcohol, weed can ruin some peoples' lives depending on how they use/abuse it/move on from it. I feel like I am a perfect example. I have been smoking weed for years and have never done any other drugs and have been very successful, attending an ivy league college. One of my siblings, however, abused marijuana and moved on to worse things. Does that make me condemn marijuana in general? No. Does that make me recognize that it is capable of being abused, much like alcohol? Of course. I drink alcohol and smoke weed and have never abused either. But some people do and will continue to do so.

I just graduated summa cum laude from Princeton and I've been smoking regularly for eleven years.
