National Enquirer Reporter Pipes Up!
The National Enquirer reporter who checked Brooke Shields' dementia-suffering mother mother out of an assisted living facility last month now wants to tell his side of the story!
Bob Hartlein claims he has been friends with Brooke's mother, Teri, for over 10 years!
The two became fast friends after Hartelin interviewed Teri about her alcohol problem back in 1999. They quickly bonded and Hartelin visited Shields at her home in New Jersey quite frequently, spending visits watching Dr. Phil and talking about classic movies.

Bob realized what an odd pairing the two were, saying: "It was an unconventional relationship over the years between the mother of a world-famous movie star and a freelance tabloid reporter. But I always treated Teri with the same warmth, kindness and respect that I do my own mother."

I think the police had to call Brooke Shields to tell her about her missing mom. That Enquirer guy is all kinds of shady. It all happened right after the Keifer Sutherland fight that Brooke got caught up in.

Obviously this tool was using Brooke's mother….it's just too odd that he would go to a nursing home and remove a woman with dementia…creepy too.
Of course he's not a real friend. And no matter how well he knows her, no matter how sincere he is in his relationship to her, he should never have checked her out of there without consulting her biological family!
Sounds like security at the nursing home really sucks. Brooke probably put her mother in the cheapest piece of shit nursing home she could find. I hope her kids put her in a shitty nursing home when she gets old. Brooke is completely self-centered and a stupid bitch.
Taking a woman who suffers from dementia from a safe place is called "kidnapping." A child can't consent to sex and neither can an adult woman with dementia. At least not in normal places. God knows what goes in in Celebrityland. Brooke might be a bitch and that assisted living community might need more staff but this guy is a scary jerk. I don't want him tipping on on MY mom.
