New Kidney, New Tour

Natalie Cole feels good with her new kidney in place and, thus, her tour has been rescheduled to start up again in the fall!
Natalie sent a special message out to her fans to thank them for her support and reward them with a brand new show:
"My family and I want to express our extreme appreciation for the outpouring of kindness we have received from all over the country. In the midst of sorrow I am still able to celebrate my new lease on life. There is always a silver lining. I thank God for this golden kidney and I look forward to going back to work in the fall. I will see you in the music."
Her first stop on her new tour is right here in El Lay at the Hollywood Bowl.

Money does work miracles. While others have to wait and wait and wait.
If she weren't who she is, she would still be on the waiting list!
If she got a live donor, then, yeah, money does help. I'm happy for her-dealing with dialysis and kidney failure is one of the worst ways to live/die. If she got the kidney from a deceased donor, then money has nothing to do with it. That list is very tightly maintained by teams of doctors. Your place on the list is determined on your level of illness (the sicker you are, the higher you go up the list) and once there is a potential for an organ, there are a bunch of criteria that have to be met to get the kidney like blood type and body size (wouldn't want the kidney from a 200# man going in a 10 year child). Regardless of who she is, don't drink the haterade-she is alive and healthy because of someone else's generosity.
She looks amazing. Lets just hope she doesn't fuck up the new kidney. That would be the tragedy.
If we get our new government ran healthcare system- she and most of the others waiting list- would die….waiting.

Here is a woman who has brought so much joy into the lives of people with her music and you're all stuck on how she bought her kidney. Natalie Cole is a national treasure and the fact that she's healthy again should be something we celebrate. All you tut tutters should reflect on your negative nature.
