Worth Millions! Picasso's Sketchbook Stolen From Museum
Filed under: Legal Matters > Francophilia
A sketchbook once owned by cubism great Pablo Picasso has been snatched!
The sketchbook, said to be worth between $9.7 million-$13.9 million, was stolen from the Picasso Museum in Paris on Monday night.
Interestingly enough, there was no sign of forced entry at the scene of the crime.
Keep your eyes peeled on eBay!

OMG! Bastard!
it would be ridiculously stupid if they were to put it up on ebay
Gonna have to wait a while to sell it or else the police will be all over them.
Picasso is overrated.
I visited this museum just a month ago. It is terrible and still being put together with exposed walls and little to no important pieces. It is not a shock that something was easily stolen.
This museum doesn't have cameras and security shizz all around that?
how original…copying an Audrey Hepburn movie (how to steal a million)
Only a stupid insane person will try and sell it!
Thomas Crown affair but low-tech.
Soon to be added to the private collection of a very well paying not-so-under the radar art collector.
Hope they take better care of it than the museum did.
Picasso is not my cup of tea, but this is a travesty! I really hope they recover it.
Duh duh duh.
I'll bet it was an employee.
gahhh!!! NO! I bet it was an inside job! I bet it was…
Don't so naive- most stolen art already has a buyer/buyers interested for private collections. It's not like you put an ad in the paper for something worth millions like that.
And Picasso as a "cubism great" - huge understatement. He's also a surrealist/classicist as well as various other styles (mainly a mixture in his most famous, later paintings). Do your research, Mario.
I TOOK IT.
What a terrible loss for all of us who LOVE Picasso. Hope they find it… undamaged.
Miss P - CAN I SPANK THAT BOTTOM OF YOURS, FINALLY ? I'll be "gentle", dear friend !
