It is too bad that they used this shot. I don't like it at all. Why did they have to have a picutre of his fly,a butterfly and a snake…oh, yah,it's about him coming out. It looks way to campy. I am sure that they had some way more flattering pics of him. And about the chest…are those freckles? He is a strawberry blond afterall. I am still a fan, but would like to know if Adam was happy with the dialogue RS used in the article. I have heard that there are hours and hours of interview time and that people can become "off guard" with their comments.

Every week for 3 months Adam made headlines for his singing and performance on Idol. He became famous for his music. That's why he's on the cover. He is a fearless performer and is fearless in life. Sad he only just gained self confidence, but his struggle in life will make for some good music.

While I think that it's nobody's biz whether a person is gay or straight, I commend Adam for finally breaking his silence. What I find most attractive about him, is that he's not trying to be politicaly correct, or conform to anyones standards, Adam is being Adam. He's got talent, good looks, and a morale that is strictly his own. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him!!! WAY TO GO ADAM!!!!

Adam looks good as a cover boy. His second one in such a short time. EW being the first. And he wasn't even the winner.

I wish much success for Adam with his record. His voice is one of the most exciting ones to come along in many years. On Idol he said he would surprise us. He is a man of his word.

Thank you American Idol for show casing this amazing singer with STAR oozing from every pore.

Adam Lambert is an established artist. He does have an album out. Sure, it is just a collection of stuff he sang on Idol but it has outsold many established acts. And if that's what he can put out in the whirlwind of the television production, I can't wait to hear what he does on an album where he can take his time and craft each track until it perfectly matches his vision.

He's also a tv star. His performances pulled in the most television viewers for the time slot, week after week. For the past several months, he has consistently been in the 100 songs and videos on iTunes. Altogether he has sold over a million downloads through that one site alone. I would say that we who buy his music and videos, and the producers who are clamoring to work with him, and the reporters in line to interview him, and the bloggers who cannot stop posting about him… we have already embraced him as an established artist.

You don't have to like his look, his sound or his personal style. But lots of people don't care for Madonna, Prince, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, etc and it sure doesn't hurt their careers.

Why do you bleeding eared eyeliner haters act so surprised that someone you don't enjoy is a success? That's kind of like thinking no one should like ice cream because you don't. It's just silly.

I hate to say he's forgetable, because usually when somebody calls a new celebrity forgetable, they usually become quite the opposite. But seeing this Rolling Stone cover, it just makes me think how I cannot see this guy becoming more than a reality TV star. Yes it seems early, but he has so many fans (me) that want the world to know here is a superstar. He actualy was awesome before the show. He gave up his other band to be on the show.
