It Never Ends! More Legal Dramz Surrounding Jacko's Comeback Shows

The promoters who were trying to put a stop to Jacko's upcoming residency at London's O2 Arena aren't giving up!
Way back in November 2008 (ancient history!), Jackson signed a deal promising to appear in a Jackson family one-off concert and abstain from making any other concert deals for 18 months.
First, the promoters attempted to order a cease and desist of Jackson's upcoming concerts, but now AllGood Entertainment is suing the Gloved One for a minimum of $20 million in damages for breaking his contract!!!
AllGood claims Jackson and his management "secretly teamed up with [residency promoter] AEG" and all parties were "well aware" the original contract was being broken.
Michael has stated that he still plans to appear in the reunion on July 3rd, 2010 and refuses to stop rehearsing for his upcoming 50 shows at the O2 arena.
Jacko's band of lawyers better fix the dramz fast, considering Michael's first comeback show is slated for July!!

mj cant afford to cancel or stop these shows, its way too much money an way too much risk on his career,in retrospect its actually quite clever of AEG-signing him sucha big deal in one city- coz people from all over the world are flying in to see him it presurizes him in2 never cancelling-look at the mayhem those few postponments caused- imagine it happening to all 50!
that all aside,i honestly think its just another former casual associate trying to take advantage of mjs recent big payday,i think if it had been a real breach of contract they would have publicly threatened to sue mj back in march,not just 2-3 months later!

Part 1)
The plan of AllGood Entertainment was to host a "one-time event" tentatively titled "The Jackson Family Reunion: A Concert for the World" in the summer of 2009.
In addition to the proposal (which was drafted in attempts of locating a sponsor to fund the project), has reviewed several contractual documents between AllGood Entertainment and Frank Dileo. On November 26, 2008, a four page confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement was signed with regards to the reunion concert; the document is signed by roughly half a dozen parties including Frank Dileo. The term of the agreement was for 18 months following November 2008. The other signed agreement, drafted on November 21, 2008 and signed on November 25, 2008, was again four pages and signed by Frank Dileo and affiliated parties of AllGood Entertainment. This agreement called for at least a 90 minute performance by Michael Jackson and 150 minute performance overall by all parties of the Jackson family. The agreement also called for a press conference in which all Jackson family members were present to announce the concert. The Jackson family members would receive $24 million in profit for their involvement with the remaining money being distributed to the affiliated parties.
Part 2)
Back on March 27, 2009, AllGood Entertainment sent a cease and desist letter via e-mail to Randy Phillips of AEG, which MJJR.net has also reviewed. This was in regards to an article that appeared online questioning who Michael Jackson's spokesperson really was, which stated: "A spokesman for Dileo told CelebrityAccess that they would release a statement along with AEG to address Rowe's claims next week and suggested that legal action may be in the offing." The letter threatened AEG with legal action if Frank Dileo continued any alleged partnership with AEG during the period of time he was meant to be with AllGood Entertainment.
At the time the agreement was signed, AllGood Entertainment allocated up to 120 days for Dileo to get written confirmation from all of the Jackson family members, including Michael, and stated that if more time was needed to do so they'd have to subsequently discuss and agree upon it in writing. AllGood Entertainment was also called on to pay Dileo or his firm $2 million (or at least 10% of that) by December 31, 2008 "to secure the Jacksons in good faith" [the total they expected to pay the Jacksons for their commitment is $24 million. It is unclear whether such money ever exchanged hands
Part 3)
On April 11, 2009 Randy Phillips responded to the cease and desist notice in stating that "Mr. Dileo and does not involve AEG Live in any manner whatsoever," and advised AllGood Entertainment that any legal issues were between that company and Frank Dileo and it has no involvement with AEG or their Jackson-related endeavors what-so-ever. In fact, this claim was reiterated in two separate e-mails from Mr. Phillips, and it has been stated that he worked directly with Michael Jackson and Dr. Tohme Tohme to negotiate the AEG contracts and procedures. In rebuttal of these claims, AllGood Entertainment sent a second notice again citing the CelebrityAccess article published on the Internet which referenced Frank Dileo as acting on behalf of Michael Jackson and AEG. However, the notice by AllGood Entertainment also seems to erroneously quote the published article using quotes which do not actually appear in the article itself. As a final follow-up, AllGood Entertainment wrote: "While Frank Dileo's actions were reprehensible, AEG's very public support of Dileo and continued association with him despite our efforts to Cease and Desist them, is tantamount to anti-trust and anti-competitive practices."
Part4)
In summary, two contracts and agreements were signed by December 1, 2008 by Frank Dileo and parties relating to Dileo's agency and AllGood Entertainment's agency. None of these contracts bare any signature of the Jacksons, nor has there been any confirmation that the Jackson siblings are aware of these concert-related plans. Even within the proposal that detailed at length the expenses, profits, and plans of each artist, there are no direct quotes from any of the Jacksons themselves to bring credence to the proposal.
With no signatures or authorization by Michael Jackson within the contracts between Frank Dileo and AllGood Entertainment, and seemingly just one online Web site referencing that Frank Dileo had any involvement with AEG, there does not appear to be much legal cause for concern over the O2 concerts.
Part 5)
Finally, on October 30, 2008 (one month before any such contracts, proposals, or agreements were drafted and signed), Michael Jackson issued the following statement: "My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon."
It's obvious that AllGood Entertainment never received that written comfirmation from each family member, otherwise those written confirmations would have been attached to AllGood's complaint and they are not. It's interesting that their complaint NEVER addresses the fact that AllGood has at least spoken, one-on-one, with the OTHER members of the Jackson family. MJ is the marque name, but the other members should have a voice also.
Part 7)
Beverly Hills, CA, May 15, 2009 — In an official statement issued today The Jacksons (Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy Jackson) have denied they were in any way involved with a proposed Jackson 5 reunion concert in Texas on the third of July claimed this week by New Jersey concert promoters AllGood Entertainment.
According to The Jacksons' manager, Danny O'Donovan, the original members of the Jackson 5, and younger brother, Randy, who later joined Michael and his older brothers performing as The Jacksons, were never approached about participating in the purported Texas concert event with Michael and sister, Janet.
The Jacksons have said they will support Michael in fighting any legal action brought by AllGood Entertainment with regard to the promoter's claim about a concert in Texas Stadium on July 3. O'Donovan said "There is absolutely no merit in this claim, and we had no knowledge of any contract, with anyone, for a so-called family tour reunion. In fact, The Jacksons were never even approached about it and no offer was ever made to them."
All of the Jackson brothers are thrilled that Michael is returning to the live stage this summer and are totally in support of his historic 50 concert run at London's O2 Arena. They eagerly look forward to seeing and enjoying his "This Is It!" concert event.

According to the lawsuit, AEG knew of the agreement between AllGood, Dileo and Jackson, "but due to their dominance and power in the live performance industry, coerced and/or induced Dileo and Jackson to disregard the agreements with AllGood and to work with it instead."
"We've given Michael Jackson and AEG every opportunity, publicly and privately, to resolve this matter and to date we have not heard from anyone," said Patrick Allocco, Allgood managing partner.
Allocco said the last contact with either camp was May 22 in Beverly Hills.
Representatives for Jackson and AEG could not immediately be reached Wednesday.
Allgood attorney Ira Meyerowitz said the company isn't looking to stop Jackson from performing.
"What were looking for," Meyerowitz said, "is for our clients to be involved in the London concerts or be compensated for agreements they entered into."

He has been photographed going into rehearsals, and was photographed at a recording studio just last week w/ his children (unmasked; I know alot of you have a fascination w/ his children in mask), but Perez wouldn't dare post pictures of Michael that can show him being somewhat "productive". Are there ever many pictures or videos of artist during rehearsals?? Usually not… These shows are going to be one of the biggest shows ever, and they are being totally monitored. Of course Michael wouldn't want his fans excitement to be ruined by allowing the paps. to get a view of the wonderful things going on in those rehearsals. I'm going to give this example; may not make sense to you but this is what came off the top of my head….
If you go into a particular store all the time, and the owners of that store feel that you have been the person coming there for years stealing from them, yet they have no proof, and you know that you haven't done anything wrong, what would keep you from continuing to go into that store? You know that you have never stolen in your life, and you know that your not hurting anyone, or committing any crimes by going into that store and that is why you continue going there. Same with Michael. He loves children, has never done any harm to a child, and wouldn't dare dream of doing any harm to a child, so why in the world would he stop being around children? Who care's what people are going to say. He know's he never committed a crime, so he shouldn't have to sneek around when it comes to being around children.

tbh im split over whether or not i think he should allow himself to be seen with children on stage. on one hand id really admire him for it,for continueing to be himself and go by what he wants and not caring how it might look, but on the other hand i think if he wants the press to not slaughter him, keeping kids off stage would be a good start.
keeping kids offstage would even help satisfy some of those who think he is a molester and maybe even help get them to the point were they begin to appreciate his music and respect him as an artist

if he has a childrens choir (and i hope he does) then someone will have something to say.. if he dosnt have a childrens choir then again someone will have something to say.. he wont get respect from his haters for not having one, coz haters are exactly that.. they love to hate.
the last thing i want to see is michael taking a step back coz of ignorant people.
he was falsely accused.. anybody can be falsely accused of such a crime..
and because he was WRONGLY accused then no-one should bat an eyelid as to what/whom he wants on his stage. he has the right to what he wants just as much as anybody else… i love him so much coz he probley hasnt even given it a second thought because of his sweet innocent nature.
if you was wrongly accused of lets say.. a hit and run accident and you was found not guilty in a court of law and you knew 100% you didnt do it, would you never ever drive a car again because afew people think you shouldnt?
Re: MJ ROCKS!!! – yeah i know what you mean, and i agree that he can do no right in some peoples eyes, some are just looking for nothin but bad stuff to catch him out.
i just know there will be more sniping from the press and haters if he uses a kids choir, if he dont then at least he will get press comments sayin "oh looks like he has kept his word that he would learn from the whole trial experience"
