As she waits anxiously for the official and final judgement, Madonna tells friends she is "over the moon" excited about the arrival of her newest addition to her family, Malawian orphan Mercy James.
Just yesterday, it was reported that judges plan to overturn the block against Madonna from adopting the child and now, she is only a few short days away from the reunion.
A close friend reveals: “She made a promise she wouldn’t give up on Mercy, and she can move mountains when she’s this determined.”
We certainly don't doubt that.
According to officials at Madonna’s charity, Raising Malawi, Madge has already made plans for a private jet to fly Mercy to New York.
Damn! We've never flown in a private jet.

Why are so many of you guys hating? She is giving a kid a great home. If you think living in Malawi without a family is such a great alternative, go do it! Adopting in the US is very difficult and take a long time. And anyway, who cares where the kid is from?

I don't like Madonna but it takes a big heart to adopt a kid so congrats for taking another child out of poverty and giving her a real chance at life she may have not had if she stayed in her poor country.
Luckiest kids are those who have true parents and real love and attention and care in their family. Luck is definitely not Vadge using them as toys and possessions for attention and making them live an unstable hectic life away from their culture.
